Chapter 9
Thanos's Problems

Thanos waited impatiently. "Where is my report," he roared.
Blade ran to his side, "Sorry it took so long my master."
Thanos shook his head, "Ten minutes isn't long but four hours is!"
Blade flinched, "Sir all the information was downloaded from the recent kings diaries which had an 8 password lock and a thumbprint scan. But everything we found was well worth the time."
Blade handed Thanos the papers. Thanos speed-read the fat pile of papers in 2 minutes. "I now know how the twins have those powers, from my gem," He angrily roared.
Blade nodded, "But the question is, how do we kill them?"
Thanos talked as he walked to his computer. "The alien I stole the gem from knew it had great power. He gave it to me believing I was going to use it for good. These are the directions, but they are written in the universal language of good. Which means only good and nice people will be able to read it."
Blade shook his head, "So?"
Thanos roared as he threw Blade through the air, "So, I can't read it!" Blade moaned as he hit the floor. Thanos continued, "I never got to test it out because that good reptilian alien who was deciphering the gem for me threw it in the escape pod when I wasn't looking and sent it away."
Blade slowly nodded his head, "Now I understand everything."
Right after Blade had said those words, the alarm sounded off. Thanos looked at his monitor. It seemed that all his men were flying around the rooms and green energy blasts were surging everywhere. As if something was flying the speed of light and killing them. "This is unexpected," Thanos thought just as two teenage boys broke down his door. As the green smoke cleared, he identified the intruders.
"Hi Thanos, you bastard," Adam said as he and his brother shot out their energy blasts.

David and I flew in the air just in time to have an energy blast sizzle by our feet. David shot back and covered me as I flew in to one of Thanos's captains. I think his name was Blade, but I couldn't hear to well over the commotion. Blade flew 50 feet though the air landing on the control pad. Everything shook as the aircraft took off into the stars. As Thanos shot at David and me, he roared, "Looks like you two are never going to get home again. Blade hit the super molecular emergency switch, so I or no one else can stop the ship, until it crashes."
David and I looked out the window, everything was a complete blur. At that moment, David and I went flying through the air. As I woke up, I felt pain. I could barely move, and when I did the pain was unbearable. Thanos must have fried us good. David helped me on my feet. "How...are you...ok?" I asked.
I couldn't see David's face expression through my watery and blood shot eyes, but he answered, "I don't know. I felt pain, but it wasn't too bad."
My eyes were still adjusting, "Were are we?"
David looked around, "I don't know, after you went out, the walls moved and the floor dropped."
"What?" I said just as my eyes became crystal clear. "David I'm blind!" I yelled as I saw total darkness.
"No bubblehead. The lights are off and it's just dark in here."
My eyes adjusted to the dark. "Oh," I said as I saw my brother David. "Let's go, Davi-" I said as the lights suddenly illuminated the room.
About 150 men surrounded us. All was carrying blasters. We guessed that these men were the last of the great army of Thanos. We were so close to winning.
