Commonwealth Paranormal will present it's very first paranormal conference on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park in Carlisle, KY. The event, named ComParaCon, will feature various speakers from the paranormal field.

Already scheduled to appear are:

Psychic Travis James Sanders - Travis James Sanders' unique story began at the age of 16, when a psychic reading changed his life forever. Travis is a young, but accomplished Psychic Medium, who has appeared on national television regarding his work with Spirit. Travis has been featured on both Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal as well as Entertainment Tonight and CNN's Nancy Grace. He recently made his radio rebut on KRock, as well as CBS Radio. He is also currently filming yet another television show , called The Body Hunter. Travis is also a certified Reiki Master & Ordained Minister.

Dave & Tom of Para-X Radio / Kentucky Area Paranormal Society - Dave and Tom are just two regular guys that stumbled into the paranormal field by virtue of a photograph!! After seeing an apparition in a casual picture taken at a wedding reception, they determined to find out what's really the truth concerning paranormal activity. Armed with a digital recorder, a monocular night-vision camera, and two flashlights, they embarked on a journey that continues to this day. The formation of KAPS in 2006 was a result of a desire to incorporate those who have a like-minded interest in seeking out evidence in a scientific fashion, and sharing their findings with everyone.

Today, KAPS has a complete array of equipment to do investigations, has incorporated a website and forum, has begun a paranormal radio show, and is an integral part in the formation of a paranormal radio network!!

Jeff Waldridge - Jeff had his first paranormal experience at the age of thirteen and has been hooked ever since! He is a member of Ghost Chasers International, a member of SHOCK (Spirit Hunters of Central Kentucky), and is the event manager for Scarefest, (www.thescarefest.com) the Largest Paranormal & Horror Convention in the Southeast!

Joe Patterson - Joe has been investigating the paranormal for several years and his knowledge of the paranormal is second to none. Prior to Commonwealth Paranormal, he was the Co-Founder of an area TAPS Family Group. In fact he has investigated with the TAPS team. He has investigated some of the most haunted and most prestigious places throughout the United States. He was also the lead investigator on the initial investigation of the case featured on the "I Am Six" episode of "Paranormal State", prior to the case been turned over to PRS.

Father J.L. Davila-Ashcraft is a traditional Anglican Catholic priest ordained in Apostolic Succession. He is a recognized expert in the fields of cults, the occult, alternative religions, deliverance, and youth subcultures. Father Jack is an independent Christian author and former talk radio host. He has appeared on such Christian programs as The 700 Club, and Straight Talk with Scott Ross. He has also been a co-host and guest host of Bob Larson's (of Sci-Fi Channel "fame") internationally syndicated radio program "Talk Back". His testimony of Christ's unconditional love was featured in the internationally distributed video "Cry For Hope"

Joe Clark - Joe has been investigating the paranormal for several years, both as an freelance investigator as well as a leader of paranormal groups. Prior to Commonwealth Paranormal, Joe was the Co-Founder of the Appalachian Paranormal Research Society. He then moved on to serve on the management team of an area TAPS family Group. He also served as the Public Relations Manager / Media Consultant for the same TAPS Family Group. Joe also served as a consultant on the case featured on the "I Am Six" Episode of Paranormal State prior to the case being turned over to PRS.

Dane Sears of Quick Hill Films. Dane is the director of the movie "The Hopewell Haunting", a movie based on events in Eastern Kentucky.

Sean Feeney, Director of the Anomaly Response Network. Sean has investigated numerous claims of the paranormal in public and private sites around the tri-state and beyond. He has served as the Youth Programs Director for KYMUFON, Kentucky State Director for the US UFO Information and Reporting Center (USUFOIRC), and Director of NKYPYG/ARN. Stan Howard - Stan is a Certified Ghost Hunter, and a member of Ghost Chasers International. He and his wife are also the founders of the group Paranormal Activity Search Team (P.A.S.T.). The Cynthiana Ghost Walk

Combining accomplished story-telling, personal experiences, and an inside tour of one of the most haunted places in Kentucky. The Cynthiana Ghost Walk has been a hit since the first walk.

See for yourself why the Cynthiana Ghost Walk is an event you just have to experience. Enjoyable for all ages, skeptics, and believers alike. Includes a 60 minute stroll through downtown (less than 1/4 mile) and a 30 minute visit inside the historic and haunted Rohs Opera House (listed as the 3rd most haunted place in Kentucky by WMXL94.5). This is not a haunted house with people in costume trying to scare you. These are real stories about real places.

Rohs Opera House

Built in 1871, this theater has bee placed on several "most haunted" lists and is a popular destination for ghost hunters from all around. A mysterious "Lady in White" has been seen by several over the years. Will you see her next?

Seldon Renaker Inn

Murder...that's how this quaint bed and breakfast has made it on our tour, but that's not all that sets this building apart. Slamming doors, shadows in hallways, and other strange happenings sometimes awaken the inn's quests. Hear for yourself and then decide if you want to book a room!

Log Cabin

Do the ghosts of James and Elizabeth McPheters still roam the rooms of this building, 200 years later? Or could it be the spirit of a condemned criminal sentenced to hang from days when this building was a courthouse?

The Old County Jail (New Stop!)

Added to this years tour is the old Harrison County jail.Hear one of Harrison County's scariest ghost stories from the inner courtyard of this historic and spooky location.

Each tour is led by experienced storytellers and real-life paranormal investigators! See authentic videos and hear real voices of ghosts (EVP's) during a Powerpoint Presentation presented by founding members of Central Kentucky Paranormal Research Society.
