What an awesome combination !

I have been following MetallicA since their first Album came out in 1983, "Kill em alL".

I thought they were too thrashy then as I was into Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Rush,Rainbow,

Judas Priest,Deep Purple and stuff like that. I was 16 and had good headbanging neck muscles, hahaha!

This is me (the only Perth female headbanger at the time.)with Wurzel and Peter from Motorhead,

They played at the White Sands in Scarborough-

West Australia. Trilogy were supporting.Trilogy were my favourite band. I used to see them on a friday nite at the City hotel in Perth and during the week at maybe the Herdsman, Cloverdale and wherever.

Think this was about 1984.

When MetallicA''s second album came out a year later,

I was A total MetallicA Freak!!

Ride the lightning was and still is my favourite album of all time!

Fade to Black being the absolute BEST !

I expect that song to be played at my funeral

nothing less!!!!

Lars Ulrich is a father again
NEW YORK (AP) - Metallica's Lars Ulrich has another little drummer boy in the family.
The drummer's wife, Skylar, has given birth to the couple's second son, Metallica's representatives said Monday. Layne Ulrich was born in San Francisco on May 6, weighing in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
The couple already has another young son, Myles, who will turn 3 in August.
Ulrich, 37, and the rest of the heavy metal band recently began work on their next album, their 11th.
