Truly an epic film, don’t be put of by the length of the film this is a brilliant tale, a tail of love, war and heroes. Most people are familiar with the story of the Trojan horse this is the setting for troy. A young prince of troy (Orlando Bloom) falls in love with the king of Sparta’s wife, he steals her away to his city troy. The king of Sparta goes to his brother king Agamemnon to ask him to go to war against troy, he agrees as his desire is to bring Troy under his rule,. He has the whole of Greece to fight for him but he needs a hero to inspire them in battle, the city of troy has never been breached before. Achilles (Brad Pitt) is the hero, but he is not someone who can be controlled he has his own ideas he is his own man with his troop of faith warriors. He fights with amazing ferocity he seems unbeatable. He is a slave to the tragedy of war. A film very worthy of seeing on the big screen. -PD

Not the traditional old guy hunting down Dracula, this guy is an action hero you first meet him confronting the alter-ego of dr. jekel. As part of a holy order he sent to deepest Romania to fight the ultimate evil Dracula,. No one knows how to kill this evil, but van helsing has the key. The film nicely ties in the Frankenstein monster and wolfman to make a very exciting story, slight twist on genre. Great action hero film. -PD
