The base of the mast with the sail brailed. Very clean in the boat this
way and nothing to trip over while using the motor. The line hanging is
the mainsheet halyard. That can be wound around a cleat to clean it up. Brailing line is cleated to the main halyard cleat on top of the main halyard. |
Better than before and I think the windage will be acceptable. If the 4hp Yamaha
can't over come this then it needs work. |
With the mainsheet angled from high up the mast to the two anchor points on the transom
(cabinet handles) the boat is very open and should be easy to work in. |
OK. Brailing is a done deal and now I need to finish fixing the rudder so I
can get her back in the water. |
