THE HOPE PLACE STICHTING is a site
designed to be informative regarding daily living in The Netherlands. This
organization is best suited for English speaking women who reside or wish to
reside in Holland.
As this is a non-profit organization, all
information is given freely. However, I do accept donations of any amount.

| PURPOSE:
THE
HOPE PLACE provides detailed information (such as name and contacts) for
medical, legal, and social organizations, help centers, and rule of laws
governing a subject. This information, though often geared towards the
general public, will be specifically explained or portrayed in its
application to women.

| FOCUS ORDER OF
OPERATION:
THE HOPE PLACE has a focused order of
operation. All information will be available to women regardless of age,
race, nationality or religion. The Hope Place is specifically an
organization by women for women because of the speciality of certain
circumstances that women face here in The Netherlands. The Hope Place is
aware of such situations and operates under total confidentiality of our
clients.
The Hope Place is specialized to deal
with events that occur primarily in women's lives, such as domestic
abuse and rape.
Whatever certain circumstances threaten
the liberty, livelihood, happiness, or family functions of women (which
always causes a chain reaction that ripples towards children) The
Hope Place is better prepared to assist in directing them to the
appropriate authorities.
These are the direct factors for The
Hope Place's focused order of operation to exclusively help women and
their children.

| EMPOWERMENT:
The rationale behind The Hope Place's
concept of empowerment is to equip all women with fundamental
knowledge of Dutch society in order for them to better provide for
themselves and their families.
The Hope Place intends to supply such
information to all women in need of help or direction that will aid in
their self-fulfillment. Empowering women with the knowledge they
need to become productive citizens of The Netherlands is the key
function of The Hope Place.
Whether it is a legal matter
surrounding home and family life, queries about Dutch courses, or an
issue of identifying which government official to contact regarding
residency, The Hope Place's purpose is to have such clear and
comprehensive information readily available.
Where women (foreign or Dutch) may not
be familiar with laws, organizations, or centers, The Hope Place's
function is to bring that information closer within their reach.
