SNB Rules and Regulations

Here are the new rules and regulations for November 2003 onwards. It doesnt matter if you are the Queen, Tom Cruize or Helen Malcolm, you must follow these rules or punishment will follow. Just a short note though, dont be petrified by these, its just to make things fair! Heh heh!

The SNBTM Rules & Regulations
Code Rule/Regulation Effect on Player(s) involved
Regulation 1: Point Scoring
1a The Amount of pins a player knocks down. The amount will be added to the players total score.
1b A player scores a strike Points value of Strike to be determined on player's next two scores.
1c A player scores a spare Points value of Spare to be determined on player's next score.
1d Total Score at End of Game Score will be added to player's monthly total
Regulation 2: Point Deduction
2a Intentional barrier usage for a player 20 points removed from the user's final weekly score.
2aa Unintentional barrier usage by a player No points deduction given
2b Use of the Bowl Assist Depletes the user's final weekly score by 20 points.
Regulation 3: Behaviour
3a Intentionally taking a different players go 30 points removed from final weekly score per offence
3b Changing any player's scores, including your own. 15 points removed for the culprit from their final weekly score
3c Intentional distraction caused by a player 20 points removed from the final weekly score of the offender, per offence
3d Hiding one's chosen ball 0-10 points removal of weekly score, depending on level of offence
3e Inflicting injury on an oppenent 0-30 points deduction depending on level of offence.
3ea Kicking a male player's balls Points deduction of 30 points depending on level of pain.
3f Causing death intentionally upon a player Removal from SNB championships period. No Appeal can be made.
3g Accidental death inflicted upon an oppenent Removal of player from current game. Appeals may be heard
3h Accidental or intentional fouling a competitor - whether it is offender's or victim's foot that crosses the line 10 points removed from the final weekly score of the offender per offence.
3ha Offender causes foul and distracts victim at same time 30 points removed from final weekly score for the offender per offence.
3i Implanting other player's barriers without their permission Point deficit of 10 per offence for the offender and none for the victim.
Regulation 4: Point Bonuses
4a A player is absent from bowling but is considered a regular by other competitors (i.e. not by oneself) Player is granted 75 points for that week.
4aa Non-Regular players are absent from bowling If they have bowled twice or more in that month they are granted 50 points for that week.
4b Player who achieves the most strikes in a month Player is given 25 bonus points to be added to his final monthly score.
4ba There is a tie in the highest strike count of the month The 25 points will be split equally between all players who have the highest number of strikes.
4c Player who achieves the most spares in a month Additional 10 points for his/her monthly total.
4ca More than one player hold the most monthly spares Each player recieves 10 points regardless of how many players are liable to recieve them.
Regulation 5: General League Rules
5a Player who finishes top of the league table at the end of the month Player wins the championship for that month.
5b Two or more players finish on equal points at the end of the month The championship is decided in favour of the player with the highest strike count for that month.
5c Two or more players finish on equal points and equal strike count at the end of the month Championship is decided in favour of the player with the highest spare count.
5d Two or more players are on equal points, strikes and spares at the end of the month. The championship is declared a joint result and all players at the top of the table win the championship.
Regulation 6: General Game Rules
6a The order on the scoresheet at the start of the game is determined by the player last in the championship bowling first, and the player in first place to bowl last. --
6aa For the first week, where no one is higher or lower in the championship, the order is based on the same system but on the final championship standings for the previous month. --
6ab The order for non-championship players is upto the present players and should not be influenced by the championship in any way. --
6b Players are not rushed to bowl and may take as long as they like. --
6c In order for a championship session to be completed, a SNBTM webmaster/mistress is required to collect a print-out scoresheet from reception at the end of the game. --
Remember that every player must obide by these rules, and that SNB is fun!
