    Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Page Designs...and other computer things. This page has obviously grown in the past month and has expanded into programs. We decided to go more into programs, applications and other functions and get away from the web-designing aspect, although it is still included. We went this direction so that one may learn about how the computer works, what goes behind each mouse click...which, in turn, will give one better understand on how to trouble shoot, and make basic programs work better.

This might seem a bit odd. We're coving a lot of material, and we might miss a few things, so forgive us if we do. This site basically compiles the general knowledge of hundreds of people about their computers, and you might learn how to run things fully from command prompt too, if your lucky. Binary and Keyboard shortcuts are just fun little things to learn in your spare time, it saves you time and binary is fun to solve math equasions in, you could probably confuse a math teacher with a series such as 0101 -5-.

The reason we're only convering a windows operating system is because we're still learning about mac, and since the majority of personal computers contains windows, it seemed more practicle. Besides if you have a mac, chances are you have a better knowledge of computers and you might be doing something more advanced with graphics and film...thus you wouldn't have stumbled upon this page. We have nothing against Mac, we fully realize that Mac and Windows both have pro's and cons...we're not predjudice.

Anyways, we're looking for people to help out. Sorry, we can't pay you, but if you wish to contribute to help educate the general masses, then by all means, please do. If you're interested please e-mail us. Just contribute what you wish, or you could also just complain.

We hope to add Unix, Linix, and other platforms. Maybe if we get lucky we'll add Mac to this page. Dare we dream so high as to add the history and evolution of the computer? For the most part though, this is a beginning level of knowledge at a resonable pace. We want to expose people gradually to all these different options, and not just to shove it down one's throat.

This covers about as much as a high-school level computer applications class. It's quick, it's comprehendable, and it's linked to other pages so that one might explore it more in depth. We hope that to the curious surfer it'll be a decent overview of main programs. Although we failed to add some -movie maker, dazzle, works, etc.- they'll be on this page in the very near future.

Nevermind all the garbble added above. Bottom line: "take a look around, learn something, pass on the knowledge." If some of us here would have found a page like this, we would be billionaries by now. We hope to expose you enough, without making you feel ingorant.
