A Group Named OUTCAST

You know she's on the prowl the second she walks in the door. She's the one with the insatiable need for little red dresses and reptile pleather pants, the girl who fakes being drunk before having a beer, that chick who appears constantly underdressed and clearly on a mission to get laid. She's the girl I see frequently on weekends and, for lack of a better term, have unaffectionately dubbed "Crackwhore." Worse than that, she embodies the prime reasons women get no respect.

It's a universal truth that has long been established:A woman who commands no respect will get none, and men who've learned through previous experience that they needn't give respect to women will seek out such easy targets. Women like Crackwhore are not only easy targets, but they unfortunately help establish a standard of treatment of women. They've taught society that women don't need to valued, but are rather throwaway sexual toys for men. It's a vicious circle in many respects, but the only way to stop it is to stop being so stupid. Women like Crackwhore have a hard time freeing themselves from their own stupidity because they don't realize that they are being used - they blindly think that they are using their powerful feminine wiles to use men. They have this delusion of freedom, a freedom to get laid by whomever they want whenever they want, but the truth is that they are willing participants in the destruction of the strides of feminism.

The irony of this is that it is the very feminist progress that made dressing less conservatively, going out to bars, and getting smashed
A woman who commands no respect will get none, and men who've learned that they needn't give women respect will seek her out.
socially acceptable for women that has now turned on us. It's allowed us a new means of demeaning ourselves and stupid women like Crackwhore are taking the bait. Instead of being constrained by societal pressures to be the perfect little wifey, they've used our freedom to put women in a position where men once again devalue us. In the end, these women don't get what they want anyway - they turn themselves into boy toys, sleeping with anything they see for some sort of reassurance of their worth, and then wonder why they can't meet a real man. The unfortunate truth is that women like Crackwhore make the rest of us look bad. If women have to wonder why we have fought so hard and gained so little respect, we must look amongst our ranks. Women like Crackwhore have unquestionably set women's rights back decades...some progress.

Maybe it's not fair to stereotype all women, but everyone else does, so it's important that the stereotype we create is a worthwhile one. We can't continue to be thought of as less intelligent than men, as disposable sexual toys for men, and mere progenitors of the male kind. But it's gonna require a lot of work, and a loud wakeup call for women like Crackwhore. We're gonna have to try harder to command the respect we deserve, and we have to live up to it. You can't fight the fight by just going through the motions, we have to reshape our ideas of freedom and live in a way that supports those ideals. We also need to redefine success for women as not how many men she can stir desire in, but rather but real successes, like personal and interpersonal achievements. And I'm sorry, but making a "College-Degree Barbie" simply isn't enough, we need real role models and real goals.

In short, woman's biggest enemy is herself. We need to stop turning out these hopelessly dependent women who mess things up for the rest of us. And we have to learn to try band together; one of the biggest things we have to overcome is the fact that women can be so overtly mean to each other for no good reason. (I'm guilty of this too, obviously.) At any rate, we need to learn to stick up for each other - if we don't, no one else certainly will.
