CHERRY

After Bali’s death Cochav was depressed, and we decided to bring her a companion to help her overcome her pain. We took Cherry form an animal shelter at the age of 4 weeks. She was a small black thing. The man in the shelter told us that she is a black Cocker Spaniel. As you can see from her adult picture she is nothing but a Cocker Spaniel. She was very young and because there was no puppy area in the shelter the man kept her in a carton box in his office.
At the first time she came home she didn’t know what sand was and obviously not even what grass was. At the shelter we signed a statement that we will castrate her as soon as she will reach the right age. This is a condition for taking the dog from the shelter and you can’t take a dog without it. We took her to the vet who took one look at her and told us to take her home. He said that if she will survive the next 10 days, then bring her back for a general checkup. He didn’t believe that she could live till the end of that week not to mention until today. But she did.
She was very sick for a while but we took good care of her. We treated her with an inhaler 3 times a day because she had canal cough. Until today she still gets coughing attacks.
She is alive and happy until today. We took her to the vet who took one look at her and told us to take her home.
