This is my page for celebrating all things Mech and Mech related.
On this page you will find links to pages that display my Mech and Mech related designs, and links to other peoples BattleTech pages.
I would like to take a moment to take a moment to Tim Cooper, who first had the guts to post two of my Mech designs (The “Lynx”, now the Minx, and the “Ripper”) on his web site.
Without his willingness to sacrifice his precious bandwidth to a total stranger from another continent, I would never have decided to get off my ass and build my own site.
Explaining Quantum-Tech Industries and The Outer Colonies:
In order to get my Mech, vehicle and fighter designs to work, I decided to create a fictitious region of space, and a political body to fill it.
The fake history took a bit longer, as I needed to explain how new technologies had been developed.
All the Mech’s are game-legal (you can use them for the board game if you like, I don’t mind). I used MechEngineer, BattleMech designer and The Drawing Board for the Mech’s, and The Vehicle Factory 3.0 for the vehicle and fighters.
I owe a lot to Tim Cooper (ok, I stole his T.M.E. Industries idea, but he’s not complained, yet), and I am eternally, well, ok, the length of my attention span, grateful to him.
If you want any of the programs I used in designing my stuff, you will find them on the sites in the links bit (look for them. What do I look like: Directory Enquires?)
I am hoping to add some fan fiction to the site. Don’t worry: some of it is good.

What type of BattleMech are you?

Real 'Mech.
You are the backbone of the battlefield. A balanced
mix of speed, armor and weaponry has you
suitable for many applications; no doubt helped
by your relative ease of
maintenance. Tactics
and skill are the key to your survival. In
person you are friendly and outgoing, and a
cooperative team player. You will always be
there to help or protect a friend in need.
Examples of Real 'Mechs include the Bushwacker,
Ryoken and Goshawk.
