You are wandering through the clean halls of the GA for some completely valid, honest, reason when you come across a datapad, obviously from the Star Wars DWUetc. Someone probably lost it, so you pick it up, and, because you are a nice, honest person, you plan on acessing the information only to find out who the datapad belongs to so you can return it to the owner, who is probably worried sick about their misplaced appliance. You key it on. The black screen displays a few lines of techincal gibberish as the system boots up, then flashes the words:
The next words to appear are...
Words continue to fill the screen. As you read, you realize they are random thoughts and other things that Arete just typed because she was bored. What harm could ever come from reading it, you wonder. If no harm ever came from reading a book, what could possibly befall you if you read a few of the little lines Arete has jotted, in a sense, down?

Just want to say thanks to all the people who fought in Iraq and to all soldiers who have fought for this country. They've done a hell of a lot more things with a lot more courage then I could ever do/hope to do, so this is a general thanks. Yup. Bing Crosby and Bob Hope doing their famous pattycake routine from the Road to... movies. These movies are definitely worth renting. Bing Crosby and Bob Hope were singers/comedians/actors in the 40s and on. Bob Hope is well-known for his USO shows and Bing Crosby for his beautiful singing. He is the original Crooner. And he's really cute. (Bing Crosby... gaaaaaah.) |
