Installation of the Font
Before you can actually use the font, you have to install it. Generally, this is how to install the font for the average PC: On the desktop screen (the front screen that shows up after your first turn on the computer), click the My Computer icon. Once there, double-click the C-Drive (which usually says (C:) somewhere in the title), then double-click Windows, and then finally to Fonts. Once there, look near the top of the folder, just under the blue bar, at File and then click it once. Next, click Install New Font. You will be taken to another list that is basically a bunch of folders which list all the files on your computer. If you aren't sure of which folder the font file is located in, it should be in the same folder that was mentioned on the page where you agreed to download the file. If you forgot, you can also click on Start (which is always there in the very bottom left corner of the screen), then Search, and then on "... For Files of Folders" (Your computer might say something a bit different, but you should be able to figure out which one you need.), and then on the page that comes up, type in font, and then run the search; it may bring up several files, not just the Almalinian font that you're looking for, so using the date on the search screen will help to determine which file you're looking for; once you've found it, the search screen should say what folder the file is in, so you can now use that information for the Install New Font screen. Finally, click on the "Almaletter" choice in the top of the Install New Font screen, and click OK. The font should install for you. Now you can use it in programs such as Wordpad and Microsoft Word.
