My real name is Cheri MacKenzie and I'm from Petawawa Ontario. Your probably wondering what the hell a Petawawa is (I've had lots of people ask me that LOL), Well it's a Canadian Military Base/town hidden away in southern Ontario. I've lived here most of my life really, since I was 7 years old.
Im 26 years old (going to be 27 May 22nd 2010) My career field is Early Childhood Education, and I am extremely passionate about my field! I just recently lost my job at a local daycare, as they were forced to close their doors, but a new daycare that is going in the same location want's to offer me a head preschool teaching job, I am waiting to hear back from them on that. In the meantime I have a part time job that barely helps pay the bills, so here is hoping I get this!
Ok, on to more stuff about me. I love to read, hell if I could I would read every book insight! ok ok Walking into a coles, or chapters, or any type of book store for me is a dangerous venture, as I have been known to spend hours pouring over book titles. I saw a sweetstakes for 1000 dollars you could win to spend in coles. I could do that EASILY!
I love to read gothic horror (like Anne rice, Laurel K Hamilton or anything to do with demons and vampires), mysteries, suspense, and fantasy! Right now i am re-reading the "Twilight" series by stephanie meyer. Definately recommend you read it if you have seen the movie because it is WAY better.

Besides being an avid reader (I have been known to read at least one book a day at times!) I love to draw, write, and take photographs. I draw mostly animals and inanimate objects as well as cartoon characters. I've never been all that good at drawing faces, but i worked on it during my year in GD.
I've been into writing since I was little. I write mostly poetry. I find writing to be a great release , especially when i am upset. Most of my best poems were written in order to vent pent up feelings or thoughts.
Photography is a hobby of mine that I have been into since I was 18. I became interested in it when my uncle sent me a cannon camera for my 18th birthday. Ever since I've been pushing the envelope, trying to take beautiful, interesting, and thought provoking pictures. I've taken pictures of everything! People, scenery, pets and such. I must have over 100 pictures just from this year alone! Did I also mention that I am a total shutter bug. Give me a camera and 4 rolls of film and I will burn them off in an hour! (trust me I’ve done it!)I haven't taken many pictures of late, as my camera was left out in a garage by my ex, and now its ruined! I would love to get back into it whenever i get my finaces figured out, but only time will tell.
A few minor things about me are that I love to dance and party, hang out with friends, watch movies, and just have fun. I love camping, nature, and playing sports (though just leisurely because i'm not any good at them!), swimming, playing video games and pool. I love to laugh and I love to have a good time! Well that's me in a nutshell. The girl behind the Raven :)
