Dashboard Confessional
How Dashboard Confessional became a band
Chris Carrabba (The lead singer), in High School , recieved a gift from his uncle Angelo that brought him into this world of music. He began teaching himself how to play, he got better as the school years ended and became serious and stopped skateboarding. Before his guitar that was his favorite hobby. Directly after he graduated, chris joined in with the Vacan Andy's, his first serious band. He spent a few years with them and a one-album stint with the agency, He moved to a band called Futher Seems Forever. While he was with them, he started a solo side-gig and took a chance with an acoustic sound. Then, Dashboard confessional began when he recorded the Drowning EP for Fiddler Records.
