Coaches, Staff and Partners

TLC staff had been practicing their craft (defined as mix of art and science) for many years. During that time they developed an in-depth program of support for athletes of all levels. Our coaches and partners cover a wide range of experience and provide solid support and motivation for all our athletes. Hundreds of satisfied and improved athletes are the credentials of which we are most proud.

Coaches

Ross Galitsky
has been racing triathlons since 1988. Competed over 100 triathlons ranging from sprint to ironman to ultra distances. He is a USA Triathlon Level 1 and a USA Cycling certified coach. In the past, Ross worked for The City of New York as a Chief Lifeguard, training dozens of surf guards to improve their fitness and to coach them for lifeguarding tournaments. He also coached New York University waterpolo club team, and worked for the American Express Company as a fitness specialist in their executive fitness training programs. Ross swam competitively since he was 4 years old, concluding his single sport career after the college when he begun racing triathlons. On a way, he also picked up cycling road racing, running and adventure racing. He began his coaching career in 1998 when he helped train a group of beginner athletes. Coaching became a passion that drove him to study this field to combine it with his own racing and training experience. Ross is responsible for designing training programs and providing coaching support to athletes of all levels. He is staying in touch with the latest training and coaching techniques, and regularly communicates with USAT's and USAC's elite coaches. His multi-cultural mindset has helped him to develop a sensitive and open way in communicating with a diversity of people. He is an athlete who focuses on the analytical and technical aspects of athletic training while being passionate about his ability to positively change lives.

Scott Willett
has been living and dreaming about triathlons and giving life to others' triathlon dreams since 1985. He has participated in events of all lengths from sprint to ultras, and has relished the opportunity to eat great foods from all over the country and the world. His racing resume contains many overall wins, including a victory in the inaugural ironman race in Israel. While he still competes, his greatest passions are his direct family and his extended triathlon family. His coaching philosophy is simple - if you don't have a good time, it's not worth your time.
