Back To Main Background History
This is going to be the new home of the Mega Man X RPG. If you really want, you can link to this site using this button.
Anyways, a few little ground rules:
The Rules
This is how this works: You e-mail me your character application. Be sure to include this stuff. You may want to copy and paste it into a new e-mail:
Your Name:
Main Weapon (this should be -Character's Name here- Buster)
Secondary Weapon
Tertiary Weapon
Any Boss Powers (which should be none when you start)
Short Bio (should include history)
And finally, if you want, you can send me a custom sprite in Bitmap form. If you want to know how to make custom Bitmaps, use MS Paint and make them there. But use a Bitmap of a Mega Man character to make them.
So far, I only have some basic rules. I will make up some more complex ones later. But, this is how you play the game:
First, you e-mail me. Be sure to make the subject say "Mega Man X". Then be sure to include your name and Character's name. "Dear Beta, this is C-Bass. I want to begin searching for Sting Chameleon's lair. Then I want to enter and destroy him."
This is a fine example of the e-mail portion of the game. But in my e-mail to C-Bass, I may say something like "Dear C-Bass, do you want to search for things, or just go in and destroy Sting Chameleon?". When I say that, I am probably hinting at something. There may be some hidden weapon or power up that is hidden in the lair. Other than that, there may not be really anything in the level. But, if you decide to just venture into the level, I will let you. The basic Mega Man components will be intact: kill enemies to get power-ups, like health boosters and weapon refills. Then, when you kill a Maverick boss, you will get their powers. Also, there will be little extras. Like, let's say that Bass went into Flame Stag's level. He wanted to search about the level. Lets say he had a Reciever, like in Mega Man 9. He began to pick up signals of something in the bushes. If he investigated, he would find that there was a Masamune Blade there. This would go under his Secondary or Tertiary Weapons list. Then he would check out the Items list. Under "Masamune Blade", he would find out what it does. This is just an example though. For those of you that wish to join, you can check out some of the First Wave characters available for play here.
The RPG will activate when I get about 5 or six people in the game, 3 Reploids and 3 Mavericks. That evens out the game and makes it fair for everybody that plays. I will also be adding Missions soon. Little things, like infiltrating an enemy base to steal some plans. Mostly recon stuff but I may add some battle scenes that everyone takes part in. And then there are the basic Maverick hunting to get boss powers from them. You may also be called upon to get certain items from certain levels, and then you may also want to attack the Maverick too. I'll see what happens. Another thing: I may not be able to run the game all the time. So please, only send ONE e-mail at a time. Don't send another one until I get back to you.
The Store
This store is run by Agion
He builds all the goodies in this store. He will make any item you need to complete any mission.
Defense
Helmet- $5000. This helmet protects the wearer. It offers some protection against blows to the head.
V-Helmet- $10000. This is an enhanced version of the helmet. It offers even more protection and comes with a Reciever.
Body Armor- $5000. This takes away some of the damage that you would receive if you were attacked in battle.
V-Armor- $10000. This is an enhanced version of the Armor. It comes with a health booster, giving the wearer more protection against damage.
Energy Sphere- $20000. This enables once the user has been hit. It then provides protection against normal attacks for a short time.
Offense
Boom Buster- $20000. The Boom Buster allows the user to fire a large blast. 50% of the time this blast is so large that the user's life is somewhat reduced.
Masamune Blade- N/A. This must be found. It acts like a Beam Saber. It can cut through most things.
Beam Saber- $10000. This can cut through almost anything and comes in lovely green, red and blue colors.
Shadow Saber- N/A. This must be found. It is a Beam Saber that has an odd black color to it. It does twice as much damage as a regular Beam Saber, because it causes its victims to explode after being hit.
Wave Blaster- $10000. This causes a very large blast of sound to streak across the ground. When it hits something, it emits a very powerful shockwave that knocks anything down.
Misc.
Dash Boots- $10000. These enable the wearer to move faster than normal. They allow the wearer to jump higher and farther.
Hover Addition- $20000. These add-ons for the Dash Boots allow the wearer to hover in mid-air. It also allows for dashing straight up.
Receiver- $10000. This allows the user to find things easier in the level. It emits a small sonar "ping" when it finds something.
Animal- $30000. An animal can be bought to use in battle. They are as follows:
Teleporter- $10000. This allows the user to escape the lair if they have already completed it. They can also use it to home in on enemy coordinates.
Power-Ups
Extra Body- $30000. Sort of like a one-up in the Mega Man games. This allows the user to die once. Then they can use the extra body. They still lose all items though...
Animal Upgrade- $30000. This is available only if the user has an animal guardian. The two meld together to create a more powerful and useful entity.
Energy Tank- $10000. This allows the user to fully recharge their life whenever they are low on it.
Mega Tank- $10000. This fully recharges all weapons if they have been used at all. Only one can be carried at a time.
Hyper Tank- $10,000. This allows you to fire continuous charged shots. Good for 5 shots. Can be doubled up for 2 shots but at twice the damage.
SSJ Power-Up- $25,000. OK, being a BIG DBZ fan, I had to include this. This is basically a Super Saiyan power-up. It enables the user to go Super Saiyan. Their hair turns yellow and their speed and power increases greatly.
War Enhancers
These are upgrades and power-ups that enables the user to become a Super Reploid (or Maverick). They enhance the user so much in fact, that there is a good possibility that they can explode from too much power.
War Rager- $50,000. This is your basic War Armor or Ride Armor. It has the basic fists.
Note: You need to have all the possible power-ups and parts to use this (includes all Upgrades, Sub Tanks, etc.).
Missile Destroyer Upgrade- $20,000. An upgrade for the War Rager. Replaces the basic fists. The user can pick from different types of missiles (but only one kind can be used).
Warpath Mega Destroyer Upgrade- $50,000. Comes with flight pack, Drill Fists and a missile rack. The ultimate in Ride Armor. There is a high chance that the user is destroyed after use.
This list is always growing. check back often, as new items are usually added every couple of weeks.
