Unidentified small frog
This is an unidentified species of small frog, probably in the microhylidae family.

Paddy Frog
A paddy frog (Limnonectes limnocharis. These pretty little frogs are quite common
Juvenille Tokay
Dunc managed to catch himself a tokay eventually. It was just slightly smaller than mine (see herptology section), but with tokay as with everything else, it not the size thats important; its what you do with it!

This snake is one of the few snakes which has a horizontal slit pupil. That and its forward facing eyes are supposed to give it excellent depth perception
gentle snake
As you can see this snake is quite gentle and not very inclined to bite
Curiousity
This snake was also quite curious as it came righ out and had a good look at dunc's head torch, before pulling back when the camera flash went off (just before taking this the snake was touching dunc's head)
Whip snake in a bush
The whip snake is quite well hidden when in amongst vegetation

The snake blending in with the vegetation and relaxing
