My Bio~~~~~~~~~<3
Here you will see more pictures of me and my
daughter! Alexa my daughter has brought me such love and joy. She has kept me
going when it seemed nothing was worth going on for. I look at her with such
hope and laugh when she reminds me of myself. I see her fathers face and
sometimes his personality. But most of all I see such a bright future in front
of her.
Sometimes I wonder what I did so right to have
such a gift given to me. She is all I have in this world as far as family
besides the baby we will add to our little family in a few months. She loves
music and ballet, iceskating and anything she express herself in. Our Friday
nights consist of us putting on hats and dancin to all my fav 80's music. It is
something we have done since she was 2 years old.
There is a special place to both Alexa and myself and that was
in Denver. We started our life over out there with only a car full of our
belongings. Not knowing where we were or knowing a single person. It had been a
dream of mine ever since I was a little girl to live in Denver. My mother used
to listen to John Denver and the song " Rocky Mountain High" always made me
want to be the person who found a new life out there and we did... As I used to
drive to work in the morning.it amazed me as I would look at the mountains and
realize we had made it. I still to this day listen to
John Denver, actually am right now as I build this page. His music has brought
me such great feelings and hopes. Even Alexa knows the songs and what they mean
to me. I also like not only metal music. I listen to Asia, Dan Fogleberg,
Bread, ELO, Styxx and 38 Special!Music has been in my
life and from having a brother who is 7 years older than I and a sister who is
5 years my senior and then having my mother who is older than most people my
age. Well I have been exposed to a wide variety of music, so many styles. My
mother taught me to play the organ and she played the Violin, Fiddle and
Guitar. My sister is the one who exposed me to the musi cof her era which is
Bread, Asia, Jim Croche. My Brother was into 3 Dog Night, Foreigner, all the
music my poor mother hated. Even though my
family is no longer and hasn't been a part of my life for 13 years I still have
very fond memories growing up in a small town in Iowa. Playing basketball with
my mom and sister. Working on my brothers first car a Ford Falcon with him.
Holidays and trying to wake my brother up by pouncing on his belly to gethim
out of bed. Dinner time was some of the most memorable moments. We had lost my
Grandma when I was very young and my Grandfather (we called him GP) would
eat with us because he never had learned how to cook for himself. He had a way
about him very stern and straight laced, he got that from being a COL. in the
Army. So dinner was to eat not play. Well not for me I would egg my sister on
and we always got into trouble. Ahh the good old
days!!
I dedicate this page to my family! Mom, Tom, Sue and those
who have gone from this world in my life, Grandma and GP. I miss you
terribly!
