Anti-Freeze in used in many different ways.(see "Uses")Often used in vehicular transportaion devices, anti freeze is most commonly used to prevent liquids and such from freezing. Duh. Well, that was a no brainer. Since we really have almost no clue what anti-freeze really is, we'll just tell you this :It's VERY electrifying.

Bubba and Honky's Theory
Anti-Freeze was first developed in 769.b.c as use of a heating system of the people of Ancient Athens. It was first discovered by Bubba and Honky's ancestors, while they were attempting to cross the Pacific Ocean, en route to California. The gasoline in their 769 Jet Flighter started to freeze, so they spit and poured in their Foster's (Austraaalian for beear) thus brought forth the development of Anti-Freeze, then known as No-Cold.
Then in 1469 when they finally arrived at their destination of Sacramento, California, Bubba and Honky's ancestors (Flamingo and Ferngully) rushed to the patent office to copyright their discovery of No-Cold. When they put their discovery on shelves to sell to the public, their was a great demand for this new ice-like substance that stayed cold, even in 69 degree weather, thus bringing forth The Great California No-Cold Rush of 1669, developing into The Small Depression of the 1700's, lasting for almost 69 years.(because all the people were spending all their money on this almost-useless invention)
After about another 69 years, everyone forgot about the great invention, now known as Anti-Freeze.The world returned to normal, thus resulting in The Great Surplus of Anti-Freeze in 1838.They didn't have much use for the Anti-Freeze, so they decided to use it in their newly discovered vehicular transportation devices, sold at .69 cents a gallon..
