Some more drawings. Back to nine muses.

Seventh Day 5" x 8" mixed media: ink and photography. This one is from my sketchbook, and should probably be under photography, but I think I can classify it as one of my attempts at being more expressive with my drawings. If you were wondering, the little caption says, "And on the seventh day, God rested."

First 18" x 24" charcoal. This is the very first drawing that I did for the life drawing class. It's pretty simplistic, but it's still a huge improvement on my output from sophomore year.

Renaissance 18" x 24" charcoal. This was the last drawing that I did for the life drawing class, and the first model that I had to draw that had clothes on. It was actually really neat, she was an actor from the Renaissance Festival, and she came in costume. Much to my surprise, this piece won an honorable mention, Best of Drawing, and Best of Show 2-D at the Shawnee Mission School District art show last Thursday.

Feet 5" x 8" charcoal. This piece is also from my sketchbook, and, I'm ashamed to say, drawn from a photograph. Hey, I was young, I didn't know any better.
