Name: Karl Newborn Age: 41 Gender: Male Occupation: Mechanic Description: A large baulding man with a somewhat weather beaten appearance. The little hair he has remaining largely a dark brown but now with streaks of silvery gray shining through, offering a contrast to his deep blue eyes. Although overweight Karl is by no means obese and under that layer of fat lies a strong muscular man. Being 6ft 1" means that Karl is not overly tall yet his stocky frame leads to him being a very strong presence whever he may be. He is usually seen wearing either overalls and a grubby T-shirt or dressed in casual clothes, Karls own appearance is not of that great importance to him. Personality: A friendly man but not someone who will not bite his tounge or suffer fools glady. He speaks his mind and tends not to worry about others perceptions of him. He is always willing to do a favor or help others out if he can but is a stong belive in the policy of "I scratch your back you scratch mine". Above all else Karl is a family man and prefers a quite life, he is happy with what he has, or had. Background: A typical childhood of mischief and trouble Karl was a happy unremarkable boy. He has lived in this town all his life and knows it and many of its inhabitants well. His father, Jerry was a military man and kept his business just that. He died a suspicious death when Karl was 19, found laying in his office slumped over his desk. Natural causes was the official verdict, however his family did not belive this as he was a particulary healthy man. Karl never speaks of his father and if the subject does come up he attemps to brush it aside. His mother a simple woman, Karl beng her full time occupation died of cancer some years after his father. Karls younger days held a brief spell as a professional boxer but this was soon cut short buy a street brawl leaving Karl in hospital and a lasting knee injury. Having always been good with his hands Karls fall from the ring lead him to becoming a mechanic under the supervision of his uncle who has now moved away and lost contact. 12 years ago Karl opened his own garage he called "New-Born Motors" and has lead a quite life ever since with his wife jean and 11 year old son Jason. Skills/talents: Handy with his fists from his younger days and an exceptional mechanic Karl is also a good driver and well known ability to hold a beer glass. Strengths/Weaknesses: A physicaly strong man with a high dosage of mental resilance, just nothing seams to affect Karl, including pain.
