raz
Painters - some
people call us artists. We know that isn't all there is to being a
painter. Although I am a capable artist with many areas of interest,
my specialization is painting. I am most comfortable in front of an
easel with paint stains on my scrubs and ten to twenty brushes active
simultaneously between my hands, teeth, canvas, and palette. A fact of
which most people are unaware: Painters border on OCD. (at least
the good ones do)
raz - its a
nickname. Of course nicknames usually have meaning or reason behind
them, this one is no different. Most people who call me raz know me as
an online SA/SI/ED teen counselor. Other people know me as the
anti-poet. Its the same thing.

Controversy

I've been influenced by a lot of people
and places,
here are a few I favor.

In most art today there is an element of
controversy. If it isn't immediately evident, people go looking
for it. I'm not sure I agree that all art today has to be
controversial. I do feel strongly, however, that it has to say
something about its creator. Maybe that is the controversy people
are looking for.

 There
are open spaces and secure places. My mind is both, and my
paintings are my reaction to my personal interaction between them.
