This entire section is dedicated to the GBA game, Jurassic Park 3: The DNA Factor. ------------------------------------------------------
Back of the Box: "The pulse-pounding excitment of the blockbuster movie Jurassic Park III stomps onto Game Boy Advance with Jurassic Park III: The DNA Factor. Explore an uncharted island filled with angry predators in search of missing Dinosaur DNA. Succeed and you'll revive an extinct species...fail and you're dino-bait."
Features: Fun and unique mix of side-scrolling adventure stages and intense puzzle action.
Use dinosaur abilitites to find new levels and uncover paths. Over 10 species of dinosaurs to create and discover.
What I Think: This is one of three Jurassic Park III GBA games released in conjuction with the movie. The game was released July 18, 2001. I hadn't gotten my GBA yet, but I really hoped I'd get it. Christmas comes, and I get my GBA, but I get Jurassic Park III: Park Builder which is a great game. So, I save up my money and wait for the price to come down on The DNA Factor. I buy it at $20, and quickly start to play it. I was surprised at the low-level side-scrolling shots in the game, especially because of the new standards of the GBA. Much of the only hard parts in this game were the Lab Areas, and because of that, I got stuck on some levels for quite some time until I made it past. If you are a JP fan, you will want to get this game now, due to the fact it is at such a low cost almsot everywhere. I recommend this game, but I wouldn't choose this one on the top of my list of the three JP3 GBA games. Many people say the graphics are bad, but I find that they are actually easy to see with. The sound quality is great, along with the weird annoying music that plays along in the background. It seems that they have just cut out pictures of the dinosaurs and pasted them in the game, (and also having them move), but otherwise... This game brought me hours of enjoyment, and I love to play it again and again.
