You might ask why I put Seifer at the top of my fictional husband list (see previous page for origins). Besides the obvious sexiness and flair, what makes him so special?
There is actually no main reason. It is pretty much a combined total of many other little reasons that deserve my attraction.
It is actually amusing, because considering his personality, I would probably be repelled by him in real life.
He is conceited and a bully, pompous and pride filled. However, though his smile and cockiness can be rather alluring, it is actually his weaknesses that make him such a character.
He is less wily than Irvine, stronger than Zell (not just physically). I guess he was my pick out of the men in my favorite video game of all time, Final Fantasy VIII.
No, dont even make me compare him to squall.

Squall.... is a wimp. -SPOILERS- He was abandoned of a 'older sister' (not even blood related) in childhood so now he is all cold and loner-y so he cant get hurt again. My god, I mean, get over it! You still had matron

Anyway, besides the squally reasons, seifer is more human than the rest of the characters. Most of the others (Rinoa, Irvine, Selphie & Zell) are portrayed as happy go lucky and just come out fake. Honestly, who is even like that?
Squall and Cid are overplayed on their weaknesses and appear just as overgrown crybabies who both needed a woman to back them (even if it was a crazy sorceress)
Quistis and Seifer are the most realistic characters because they are both played with weaknesses and strongpoints. (quistis' weakness being her bad teaching abilites and squall....)
Though flawed, Seifer has dreams, ambitions and hopes. He has a personality to boot. Whether smirking or near dying, I would say that he has the most depth of all Final Fantasy VIII characters.
