A whole page about...me??? Yikes!
Hmm, let's see...I am a "small town girl".
I have lived in the same town my entire life and
I have no desire to move anywhere else. I love it here!
Everyone knows everyone else's business *lol* and
everybody looks out for everybody else...for
the most part. My heart is here.
I am a proud Mom of two beautiful, intelligent, creative,
amazing girls...not that I'm biased or anything. *S*
I was a married person...until December of 2002. My ex
is a great guy, an excellent daddy and a very good
friend of mine... and I'm thankful for that.
I am working on my arts degree majoring in Social
Development Studies. SDS is an interdisciplinary program
that combines psychology, social work, sociology and
interdisciplinary social science. Through the program I have
taken some courses related to Buddhism. They really spoke to me
& although I am not a Buddhist, the principles have touched me
& affected my life.
I work as an EA (educational assistant). I work with children
who have special needs, those who have learning disabilities, those
with behavioral difficulties and some who just need a little
extra attention. It has been a very positive experience
(so far *s*) and I enjoy it very much. I call my
kids my "special l'il angels"
What else? Hmm? Well, I am a huge caffeine addict.
I HAVE to have coffee! I should just get a coffee IV drip
but that would be sort of cumbersome don't you think? LOL!
I LOVE books. I LOVE music.
I like watching basketball and hockey.
Oh! Here's something exciting... I have taken more
interest in my yard and plants lately and my
"oh so attractive brown thumb" seems to be developing a
few green patches. LOL! Miracles do happen I guess. *heehee*
I enjoy playing is PSP and making web pages.
You never know for sure what my site will look like. Sometimes I
decide to make all new graphics for it myself.. other times
I find graphics made by others that I just
can't resist using!
I don't know what else to tell you right now. *S*
