Su Kong Tai JIn

Born in Fukien Provience in 1849, Su Kong Tai Jin (Su Kong Meaning "GrandMaster") came into the world with a genetic disease (Hypertrichosis) that caused his face to be covered with hair. His parents, thinking him posessed by a demon, abandoned the baby as an infant near the Fukien Shaolin temple. He was found and raised by the Monks who named him Tai Jin. Most students learned under a single master and were only instructed in a single style. Knowing he would never have a normal life in society because of his appearance Grandmaster Tai Jin decided to do what no one had ever done before,,,,To learn all the Shaolin Arts! Su Kong Tai Jin was permitted to study under all the masters and eventually became the Grandmaster of the Fukien Shaolin Temple martial arts program. He was known for his training in "Chi Ma", or the "death Touch". A story is told that Su Kong Tai Jin once met with 12 other Grandmasters from neighboring temples. When he entered the room, the 12 Men stood and bowed, but Grandmaster Tai Jin simply walked across the room picked up a knife and threw it into the rafters. Down fell a spy with the knife in his heart. Shocked the 12 grandmasters asked Grandmaster Tai Jin how he knew the spy was there. He replied that there should have only been 12 men in the room and he had heard 13 breathing! After the destruction of the temple by the government around 1900, Su Kong Tai Jin travelled throughout china for several years continuing to teach several of his students, one of them being Ie Chang Ming
