They Might Be Giants
This is a new-york based band, but the memebers, or at least some, are Canadian, i believe. TMBG is one of my favorite bands. The music is very funny, and very sarcastic. The Tunes are catchy and fun. But the best thing about the band is that they are able to write very convincing songs about absoulety nothing! I'm serious. They write songs about topics ranging from nightlights, to dinner-bells. If this makes no sense to you, I'm sure you're not alone.
