Known Features
This page list all of the features we have either seen in the screenshots or that have been released by Ensemble:

Civilizations:
There are going to be 3 civilizations, but each of these are divided into 3 different tribes each one supporting a different God. If you want to compare them to AOE it is beter to think of these civilizations as tile sets and the 9 seperate tribes as the civilizations from AOE.

Here we see Lightening storms hitting an enemy town.

Gods:
In the desktop pictures from Ensemble we have seen Thor and Poseidon, from one of the screenshots we have seen lightening hitting a town, which would suggest Zeus (the King of the Greek gods) was here to play.

Units:
I have no idea how many different units there are but we have seen infantry, archers, cavalry and ships. As well as a whole host of Mythological units, unique to that civilization (see above) and recently we have seen trade units and villagers. So far it is unknown what the maxium population for each player will be, this was fixed at 200 in AOK (yes i know the Goths are different), suggestions are that it is based on "fetile land" ie the more land your own the more units you can build.

Buildings:
So far we have seen the normal AOE buildings for example: barracks, market and towers. We have also seen some clearly new buildings, ie Temples and a "fortress" which seems to be some type of castle.

Multiplayer:
I have read that it will have the ability to play 16 players at the same time, imagine 8v8 games :)
Sounds good, but will it run on the standard 56k modem???

Other Features:
We have been told about transparent water, and have seen how units can wade in upto their waists, useful for crossing shallow water and for fishing.
There is, whether it is just in scenarios or in all games and whether it is after so much time it changes or real time (ie 19:00 would be dusk) we havent been told.
Real time lighting which means that when the Fire Giant, a norse unit, walks through a town at night the light on the walls follows him.

Overall it is looking spectactular, but will it play as good as it looks???

Please note this is all is just what we have seen in previous screenshots, whether or not it will remain unchanged is not set.
