SEASON ONE  

1 City Of

 Angel is a centuries-old vampire cursed with a conscience who has left the small California town of Sunnydale and the only woman he ever loved to take up residence in the City of Angels. Sunnydale escapee Cordelia Chase has also come to Los Angeles with high hopes of living the glamorous Hollywood dream but the two soon discover that they could use each other's help. They are joined by Doyle, a disreputable spiritual mentor who has been sent by "The Powers That Be," a mysterious and powerful force trying to make things right.

2 Lonely Hearts

Angel brushes up his pick-up lines while tracking a monstrous serial killer that is hunting at a happening Los Angeles singles bar. Meanwhile, Doyle is developing a serious crush on Cordelia and asks Angel to put in a good word for him.

3 In The Dark

Angel receives an unexpected visit from Oz who delivers a gift from Buffy, a mystical relic that renders the owner unkillable - not by stakes, not fire, not even sunlight. But Oz is followed by Angel's arch nemesis, Spike, who is determined to fight Angel to the death for this awesome power.

4 I Fall to Pieces

Angel is called into action when Doyle's visions lead them to a young woman who is being stalked by a demonic neurosurgeon who uses his bizarre ability to manipulate the human body to terrorize others. Back at the office, gal Friday Cordelia goes undercover to help Angel research his prey.

5 Rm w/a Vu

When Cordelia flees her roach-infested apartment and lands on Angel's doorstep, the close quarters force Angel to make a deal with Doyle neither can refuse. Meanwhile, Cordelia's riches-to-rags life may be taking a turn for the better when Doyle finds her the perfect apartment - until she discovers that the bargain rent comes with a price - the apartment is haunted by a former tenant.

6 Sense and Sensitivity

Angel fears that Kate's life is in danger after she nabs a dangerous murder suspect, but she becomes distracted when seemingly innocuous sensitivity training turns the entire police precinct into one big open wound. Meanwhile, Cordelia is miffed at Angel's lack of niceties around the office and frustrated that the middle-of-the-night hours are eating into her social life.

7 The Bachelor Party

Angel sees his new friend Doyle tortured when his estranged wife comes to town asking for a divorce so she can marry another man. With the wedding just a few days off, Angel agrees to follow her seemingly affable fiance to learn more about this man before Doyle gives his blessing to their union.

8 I Will Remember You

After learning that Angel was in Sunnydale but stayed out of sight, Buffy comes to Los Angeles to confront him about his unannounced stalking, but a bloody battle with a medieval demon leaves Angel with awesome new powers and Buffy with a chance for true happiness with her beloved.

9 Heroes

Angel joins Doyle's crusade to save a group of helpless demons from The Scourge - a storm trooper-esque army of pure blood demons that persecute those of mixed blood. Meanwhile, Doyle reveals the reason he was sent to Angel, confesses his true identity to Cordelia and makes the ultimate sacrifice for his friends.

10 Parting Gifts

Angel and Cordelia, still reeling from the loss of their friend Doyle, join forces with an old acquaintance in the pursuit of a demonic bounty hunter. Meanwhile, without the guidance of Doyle's visions from The Powers That Be, Angel finds himself fighting blind.

11 Somnambulist

When a serial killer stalks the Los Angeles streets, Wesley recognizes the chillingly familiar religious markings from Angelus' killing spree in the 1700s, and Angel must face the possibility that he is committing the murders in his sleep.

12 Expecting

After what Cordelia thought was a dream date, she wakes up to find herself in the middle of a nightmare- extremely pregnant with something extremely unnatural. Meanwhile, Cordelia's condition leads Angel and Wesley down a path of protection for their friend and colleague.

13 She

Angel joins forces with a warrior princess to save the enslaved women of her homeland from a dangerous patriarchal society of fierce warriors.

14 I've Got you under my skin

Cordelia's visions of a boy in trouble lead Angel and Wesley into battle with their first exorcism, but everything is not as it seems with the child who is possessed by a 10,000-year-old demon.

15 Prodigal

Angel is haunted by images of his past as a young man in 1753 Ireland, his overbearing father, his vampire birth by his past lover, Darla,  and his family's murder by his own hand. Meanwhile, when Angel spots Kate's father at a crime scene, his investigations may change Kate's life forever.

16 The Ring

In pursuit of a missing man, Angel becomes enslaved by a seedy underground gladiator-like boxing ring. Meanwhile, Cordelia and Wesleydiscover what Angel is up against and try to make their way into the secret operation in order to save him.

17 Eternity

Angel rescues a popular young actress from a stalker, but when he finds himself taken with her and confesses his true identity, she goes to drastic measures to secure eternal youth and beauty.

18 Five by Five

Angel's life is on the line when the attorneys at Wolfram & Hart hire Los Angeles visitor Faith to put him out of business - permanently. In the meantime, Wesley, who still feels responsibility to Faith from being her former Watcher, declares he will stop her from bringing harm until he, and Angel, determine she needs more than a just swift kick to snap out of her evil ways.

19 Sanctuary

Buffy comes to Los Angeles seeking vengeance under the guise of protecting Angel  from Faith's violent nature, but Buffy is shocked and hurt to discover her former love siding with her nemesis. Meanwhile, Wesley is faced with a crisis of loyalties when the Watcher's Council offers a chance at reinstatement if he gives up Faith.

20 War Zone

Angel tracks down a millionaire's blackmailer, but gets caught in the middle of a gang war between street kids and vampires and meets the leader of the vampire hunters, Charles Gunn.

21 Blind Date

Angel agrees to help Lindsey McDonald crack the secret files of Wolfram & Hart to save a group of children from a demonic assassin. Ultimately, Lindsay isn't quite sure if he can stick by his decision to betray the firm and sabotage the deadly mission.

22 To Shanshu in L.A.

Angel faces a wild demon who is summoned by Wolfram & Hart to wreak havoc and raise a powerful force to strike down Angel and destroy those close to him.

SEASON TWO

1 Judgement

The well-oiled, demon-fighting machine of Angel, Cordelia, and Wesley is back in full force and joined by the streetwise vampire hunter Charles Gunn.  After a case of mistaken identity leads Angel to slay a demon protecting an innocent girl, karaoke is the only way to make things right. Meanwhile, Angel struggles with the discovery that he may not always be eternal and Darla recovers from her resurrection from Hell.

2 Are You Now or Have You Ever Been

Angel directs Cordelia and Wesley to investigate a mysteriously abandoned hotel in Hollywood. As they piece together the building's dark history, the duo discovers that their boss’s interest is that of a personal nature. In a flashback to 1952, Angel is not the atoning vampire of present day, but a recluse who is detached from the tortured humans around him, until one fateful day.

3 First Impressions

When Cordelia has a particularly disturbing vision of Gunn in grave danger, she elects herself as his new protector. When she discovers that he may be his own worst enemy, she has to face the fact that she can't save him without the help of Angel  and Wesley.

4 Untouched

Angel unknowingly crosses paths with Wolfram & Hart when he comes to the aid of a young woman, Bethany, who possesses telekinetic powers far beyond her control, a situation Angel has had to contend with in his own life. Meanwhile, Angel is somewhat off his game due to the fact that he has been sleeping weird, but has no idea his fitful nights are the result of nocturnal visits by Darla.

5 Dear Boy

Angel's continued restless nights take him all the way back to 1860 London and his first encounter with Drusilla, but when he sees Darla in his waking life, Cordelia,Wesley and Gunn fear he has gone off the deep end and may revert to his evil ways.

6 Guise will be Guise

Angel travels to a mystical swami to help understand his haunting dreams and get in touch with his inner demon. While he is away, Wesley assumes Angel's identity to try to save a young girl and sort of enjoys playing the role of a vampire with a soul.

7 Darla

Angel is desperate to rescue Darla from the clutches of Wolfram & Hart. Flashbacks reveal what a dangerous and powerful relationship they shared as history weirdly seems to be repeating itself. The trip down memory lane begins with Darla's turning by the Master  and ends with the gang of Spike, Drusilla, Darla and Angel being torn apart when he gets a soul.

8 The Shroud of Rahmon

Angel poses as a flashy vampire hoodlum, and with the help of Gunn prevents a mind-altering shroud from falling into the wrong hands.

9 The Trial

Angel is still haunted by flashbacks of his 150-year love affair with Darla and has Gunn help track her down, but he soon discovers that he is faced with an impossible choice: watch her die from a terminal illness or use his dark powers to turn her back into a vampire and give her eternal life.

10 Reunion

Angel goes on a frantic search after Drusilla turns Darla back into a vampire, and he must catch them before she rises again and the two go back to their old ways and paint the town red. Meanwhile, as Angel goes off the deep end, his staff worries they are the only ones standing between Angel and real darkness.

11 Redefinition

After firing his staff and cutting himself off from all help, Angel begins intense physical and mental training to become strong enough to stop Darla and Drusilla before they destroy the City of Angels. Meanwhile, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn try to continue the fight for the innocent on their own now that Angel's gone commando.

12 Blood Money

Angel threatens to expose Wolfram & Hart's criminal activities when he discovers that they are stealing large contributions that were made to a teen shelter, but an old adversary has other plans for him.

13 Happy Anniversary

Angel and The Host must join forces to stop a brilliant but twisted physicist who is determined to stop time in order to keep his girlfriend from breaking up with him.

14 The Thin Dead Line

While Angel secretly investigates a squad of zombie police officers who assault everyone in their path, the same case is brought to Cordy, Wesley and Gunn by Anne.

15 Reprise - part 1

Angel learns of the impending visit of Wolfram & Hart's "senior partner", an ancient and merciless demon from hell, and he plans a kamikaze mission to destroy the powerful beast, willing to sacrifice his own life in the process.

16 Epiphany - part 2

After an empty night of passion with Darla, Angel surprisingly wakes up with his soul intact and has an epiphany. His moment of clarity brings him back to the land of the living and while he tries to reunite with his crew,  Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn aren't ready to forgive him, even when their very lives are at stake.

17 Disharmony

While the reunited crew tracks down a cult of vampires led by a former motivational speaker with a wicked pyramid scheme, Cordelia gets a surprise visit from her old high-school buddy Harmony. Unaware that her flaky pal's a bloodsucker, Cordy mistakes Harm's strange behavior for lesbianism

18 Dead End

The search for a man Cordelia saw in a vision stabbing his own eye leads the gang's path to cross with Lindsey's — whose new right hand seems to have a life of its own. Back at Wolfram & Hart, Lilah fumes and frets over the extra attention that her partner's receiving.

19 Belonging

Shaken up when a mystic portal deposits a rather violent Drokken demon at his club, The Host takes news of the unexpected man-eating guest to Angel and company. Their only clue to finding it is Cordelia's vision, which leads them to a library with a missing librarian. Meanwhile, Gunn heads to his old neighborhood to help with a vampire problem, and Cordy's spirits take a hit when her acting gig doesn't go so well.

20 Over the Rainbow

Cordelia is transported to a dimension where humans are sold into slavery by demons, and the others follow only to be mobbed by angry villagers.

21 Through the Looking Glass

Angel and friends work overtime to survive in a foreign dimension. Cordelia discovers her dirty duty as Princess of Pylea is to mate with a creature called the Groosalugg. She's unable to escape the palace with Wesley and Gunn, and the priests keeping watch over her also prove to be less than trustworthy. Meanwhile, Angel gets himself into trouble with the Host's family when he refuses to kill a human woman who went missing from L.A. years before.

22 There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb

The second-season finale has things popping in Pylea as Angel, Cordelia, Wesley, Gunn and the Host find getting out of the foreign dimension to be increasingly complicated. Figurehead princess Cordy is trapped in the palace by the ill-intentioned priest Silas, who is also responsible for the Host's recent beheading. Luckily, Lorne's bizarre physiology allows his ever talkative head to survive, provided his body isn't mutilated. While Cordy helps the disembodied noggin complete himself, a lost-in-the-woods Angel bonds with fellow refugee Fred; and Gunn and Wesley get caught up with a band of rebels. But of course it all ends happily ever after ....

SEASON THREE

1 Heart Throb

On a routine patrol, Angel stakes a female vampire he recognizes from his past, but a moment too late. Her grief-stricken lover, Angel's old fighting buddy, is out for revenge for the present killing and a betrayal Angelus committed over 200 years ago.

2 That Vision Thing

Angel must align himself with the dark side to prevent a psychic hacker from killing Cordelia with visions that are leaving her burned and scaly.

3 That Old Gang of Mine

Angel comes face to face with Gunn's ragtag crew of vampire hunters, and not only do they view Gunn as a traitor, they want to reduce Angel to a pile of dust.

4 Carpe Noctem

An old man swaps places with Angel and secures eternal life as a boyishly handsome, albeit bloodthirsty, vampire in Los Angeles; leaving Angel dying to get his body back.

5 Fredless

Angel goes into full detective mode when Fred's parents unexpectedly arrive in Los Angeles to bring Fred home, but their appearance inexplicably sends her into a tailspin and on the run.

6 Billy

Angel and Cordelia both knew there would be consequences when he freed the partially demonic (but totally evil) Billy from a fiery prison in hell in order to save her. Those fears are realized when a wave of violence against women is traced back to Billy, whose mere touch has the power to bring out the worst in otherwise good men. The crew rushes to prevent another brutal attack, unaware that Wesley has already been infected---and he's alone in the hotel with Fred.

7 Offspring

As the crew researches a prophecy predicting the imminent arrival of a being who may have a profound impact on the world, Darla arrives at the hotel---pregnant and angry, looking for the daddy. Cordelia, hurt by Angel's dishonesty, takes Darla's side in the matter. Baffled by how the pregnancy is even possible, Angel and company turn to the Host for some insight.

8 Quickening

As Angel and the gang try to figure out what exactly is inside Darla---who's now having contractions---news of her pregnancy causes near pandemonium at Wolfram & Hart. Meanwhile, the demon Sahjhan tries to bring a newly resurrected Holtz up to speed on what he missed over the last couple of centuries.

9 Lullaby

As Darla violently begins childbirth, Angel faces the responsibility of becoming a father and the possibilities of what miracle or destruction this new being may bring to the world.

10 Dad

Still trying to figure out how to be a good father, Angel's problems multiply when he and the gang are trapped by several groups of enemies bent on kidnapping his son. Barricaded in the hotel, the group prepares for an inevitable attack. Meanwhile, Holtz goes about recruiting new help for his quest to destroy Angel.

11 Birthday

A powerful vision knocks Cordy out of her body, leaving her physical self in a vegetative state, but a guide on the astral plane offers her a new lease on life. Unfortunately, it's a life without her friends, who are busy trying to figure out how to get her back. Angel sets out to speak to the Powers That Be, who can presumably revive Cordy and mend her vision-ravaged brain.

12 Provider

Unprepared for the flood of business brought in by advertising, the Angel Investigations crew splits up to cover more ground---and ends up being spread too thin for its own good. Also, Fred is offered big bucks to solve a demonic puzzle; Angel goes to work for a high-paying businessman; and Gunn and Wesley protect a woman whose zombie ex-boyfriend is stalking her.

13 Waiting in the Wings

Angel takes the gang out to the ballet, but becomes suspicious when the ballerina is one he saw a century ago. When Angel and Cordelia sneak backstage, they find themselves consumed with passion.

14 Couplet

Exacerbating the tension caused by the office's two latest couplings, Cordy asks Angel to help her achieve the next level of intimacy with Groosalugg. Meanwhile, Fred and Gunn discuss the new wrinkle in their relationship and track an alleged cheating fiancé, whom they promptly lose during a brief make-out session.

15 Loyalty

Angel is concerned about Wesley's erratic behavior when the book man's greatest fears are secretly confirmed - the prophecy is true and he is given the three signs to look for before Angel devours his own son. When an earthquake shakes Los Angeles, all three signs come true.

16 Sleep Tight

Angel's angry behavior and sudden cravings for human blood frighten Wesley enough for him to kidnap the baby to keep him safe. Unfortunately, Wesley's plan to protect Connor falls apart when Holtz factors into the picture.

17 Forgiving

Angel is a man out for revenge to get back at Wesley for kidnapping Connor and turning him over to their enemies. While Fred and Gunn try to reason with him, Angel conjures dark magic and risks ripping right through the fabric of reality to find his lost son.

18 Double or Nothing

Angel puts his soul on the line when a repo man (guest star Jason Carter) comes to collect on Gunn's past deal to sell his soul. Meanwhile, Cordy is back from vacation and tries to console Angel over the loss of the only child he will ever have, and Fred tells Wesley that the prophecy was a fake and all was lost for nothing.

19 Price

Angel must pay for using powerful dark magic in his failed attempt to bring back his son, and the hotel becomes infected with deadly slug-like creatures who invade Fred's body, leaving Wesley as Gunn's only hope to turn to save her. Meanwhile, Cordelia experiences a new and shocking power and they learn of the coming of The Destroyer determined to kill Angel.

20 A New World

Mere months after Angel's infant son was carried off to a virtually unreachable Hell dimension, the heartbroken vampire's prayers are answered...sort of.

21 Benediction

Relationships come under strain as the group dynamics undergo some changes.

22 Tomorrow

The reunion between Angel and his son is not all it seems: Connor has a hidden agenda. Meanwhile, just when Cordelia and Angel are finally facing their feelings for each other, she receives a message from the Powers That Be and Connor's agenda comes to fruition.

SEASON 4

1 Deep Down

With Angel trapped on the ocean floor and Cordelia stuck on a mystical plane, Fred and Gunn are frustrated at the lack of clues regarding their friends' whereabouts, especially after the only eyewitness to Angel's disappearance is murdered.

2 Ground State

When Wesley advises Angel to visit Dinza, a dark "goddess of the lost" who has valuable information on how to find Cordelia, he learns that a certain mystical antiquity can locate souls across dimensions. Angel, Fred and Gunn break into an auction house to retrieve the object only to discover that an electrifying cat burglar has the same intentions.

3 The House Always Wins

Tired of dealing with Connor and looking for Cordelia, Angel decides to take Gunn and Fred on a road trip to Vegas to visit Lorne who is performing in a showcase at one of the casinos. However, they soon get caught up in a supernatural — and literal — futures trading scheme. It seems a ruthless casino owner is holding Lorne hostage, exploiting the popular entertainer's psychic abilities to steal unsuspecting patrons' destinies. When the casino owner learns that Angel is destined to play a major role in the apocalypse, the stakes get even higher.

4 Slouching Toward Bethlehem

After months of existing on a higher (and evidently very boring) plane, Cordelia inexplicably appears back at the hotel — with no idea why or even how she arrived there. Sadly, a serious case of amnesia prevents Cordy from remembering either her friends or her past. Believing the full truth may scare her off, the gang attempts to hide the freaky facts about their lives. Things get even more complicated when Lorne reads her mind and sees a terrifying vision of the future. Meanwhile, outcast Connor struggles to find his place in the world.

5 Supersymmetry

While delivering a speech to an audience of academics (plus Angel, Gunn, Wesley and Lilah), Fred is attacked by a set of tentacles extending from a mysterious midair portal. But her shock at the assault turns to anger when she pinpoints the perpetrator. Meanwhile, Connor and Cordelia's friendship grows.

6 Spin the Bottle

Desperate to reverse her amnesia, Cordelia takes a stab at Lorne's supposedly surefire memory-restoration spell. It works as promised, but not as expected. There's one doozy of a side effect — Cordy, Angel, Wesley, Gunn and Fred revert to their teenage personas. Rendered strangers to each other, the unlikely adolescents team up to figure out why they're stuck together in an unfamiliar hotel. Wesley believes it's a test, the object of which is to find and kill a vampire. Things get more complicated for the quarrelsome quintet when Angel realizes he is a vampire.

7 Apocalypse, Nowish

When Cordelia's apocalyptic nightmares become a reality, Angel, Wesley, Gunn and Lorne find themselves powerless against The Beast who has risen from the center of the Earth, bringing earthquakes and a rain of fire to Los Angeles. Bloodied and beaten, Angel and his friends realize that they may not be able to stop the impending doom.

8 Habeas Corpses

Another day has dawned for Angel Investigations, but terror still casts a shadow as the Beast cuts a murderous swath through the city. The shaky gang gathers at the hotel after a seemingly endless night facing a rain of fire and the emergence of the monster Cordy's vision predicts will bring about the Apocalypse. But before they can decipher recent events, they learn that Connor, who went to Wolfram & Hart to uncover his connection to the Beast, is now trapped in the building with the demon.

9 Long Day's Journey

When the gang learns that the answer to stopping the Beast is among them, everyone suspects Connor, until Cordelia begins to receive visions from the Powers That Be. Meanwhile, Angel and Gwen discover that the Beast is preparing a device that will blot out the sun permanently and turn the world into a demon playground.

10 Awakening

After Cordelia's revelation that Angelus and The Beast made a pact, the gang determines that they must turn Angel into Angelus to end the eternal darkness. For that transformation to take place, Angel must lose his soul by experiencing a moment of pure happiness.

11 Soulless

Angel's exquisitely evil alter ego is back after the vampire's soul is extracted by a shaman in an attempt to determine Angel's connection to the demon wreaking havoc in Los Angeles. But the sullen supervamp has little love for the derring-do-gooders and soon starts spilling their secrets, aiming to turn the friends against each other. Wes, Fred, Gunn and Connor all get their shot at face time with the caged Angelus, but it's Cordy who holds the key to get him talking.

12 Calvary

As the gang scrambles to locate Angel's stolen soul, Lilah emerges from the sewers and tries her hand at persuading Angelus to stop the Beast. In other developments, Fred and Gunn make a decision about their relationship; and Angelus makes a comment that has the group looking at the Beast in a different light.

13 Salvage

Angel's evil alter ego, who's out of his cage and pursuing the Beast, hits a pool hall packed with vamps to see if he can determine the demon's hideout. Meanwhile, at the hotel, Wes goes about the grisly task of dispatching Lilah's corpse, as Lorne, Fred and Gunn gather ingredients for a protective sanctuary spell. But the gang is all too familiar with the unpredictability of magic, so Wes pays a visit to the incarcerated Faith to try to persuade her to join the team in the race to prevent Armageddon.

14 Release

Angelus continues his search for The Beast's mysterious master, never suspecting that it could be someone close to him. Meanwhile, Faith and Angelus do battle while Cordelia convinces Connor to keep their baby a secret.

15 Orpheus

While in their drug-induced comas, Angelus and Faith experience flashbacks of Angel's good deeds over the centuries; Fred calls in Willow, the only person ever able to restore Angel's soul and asks her to help them do it again.

16 Players

Angel and the gang set out to find out as much as they can about Cordelia's pregnancy and the identity of The Beast's master while Gwen Raiden enlists Gunn's help to crash a black-tie affair and rescue a kidnapped girl.

17 Inside Out

Desperate to find out why Cordelia has turned to the dark side, Angel goes to demon Skip for answers. Forcing the truth out of him, Angel learns that all that's transpired, Connor's birth, Cordelia's ascension to the higher plane, Angel turning into Angelus and Cordelia's pregnancy, were all a part of a higher being's plan to create something even more powerful than itself.

18 Shiny Happy People

As Cordelia lies in a coma following her demonic delivery, the rest of the gang becomes acquainted with---and enchanted by---her unexpected offspring. But when Fred sees something the others don't (or won't), she finds herself all alone and on the run.

19 The Magic Bullet

With Angel and the others under Jasmine's extraordinarily divine power, Fred's life is in danger and she goes on the run. After discovering the secret to breaking Jasmine's spell over the nation's citizens, Fred must find a way to save the others before she's captured and killed.

20 Sacrifice

Angel and the gang are now reunited, but they must hide out in the sewers to escape from Jasmine and her followers. While walking around, they encounter a large group of teenagers. Wesley is captured by a creature dwelling further in the sewers, who gives him some helpful information. Meanwhile, Connor realises Cordelia is missing.

21 Peace Out

Angel goes on a mission to find proof that his son Connor wasn’t simply a vessel designed to bring the evil Jasmine, who is hell-bent on destroying everyone, into the world. Meanwhile, Connor goes in search of the missing Cordelia.

22 Home

Angel and the gang are made an offer they can’t refuse when they are given the opportunity to take over Wolfram & Hart and obtain all of the firm’s secret and powerful information. Meanwhile, Angel has a chance to change the future for his son Connor, who is physically and emotionally lost and wandering through the city.
