This started off with these two postings on the main page, as a serious virus warning:

VIRUS WARNING!!!
This came as quite a shock to me...I'd only been up an hour or so, and I go online to check my emails and think about the next update, when I had a virus scare.
I recieved an email from Mail Delivery System(MAILER-DAEMON@hotmail.com), with the subject "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender -Last French Lesson". I opened the email and got this message :
"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients.
This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:adamscott_avis@hotmail.com
For further assistance, please contact < postmaster@hotmail.com > If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the message returned below.
Copy of your message, including all the headers is attached"
If you downloaded the attachment, two download windows were brought up - one this last french lesson thing ("californiction whats my age again bohemian rhapsody wonderwall secret smile greenday songs!!!!!!! drive pardon me i miss u "), which has the virus W32.Yaha.F@mm, another which as far as I can tell is just a virus, which thankfully my software picked up immediately and was deleted. I know in retrospect it was silly of me opening, but i was confused and still asleep, so nyar :P
*Update!*
Guess what? I got this sodding email again! I also heard a few other people who've been sent it, so really, tell your friends, email people, give them this link, whatever it takes....
Then recently, I was talking to a friend on an IM, and it turns out it was his PC that was initially infected, and the Last French Lesson wasa list he was sending to his friends about his last french lesson, as their teacher had told them that if they could get the lyrics they could have a sing along, and those were the songs chosen. ANNNND, adamscott_avis is in his french class, and was one of the original recepients for the actual intended mail. Aparantly the actual virus was writen by Israeli extremist hackers or something, so your browser automatically loads some government website or other, presumably to overload it's systems or something....wow it's like a movie.
