Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. He is half Saiyan and half human, just like Gohan and Goten. Trunks was surrounded by a scientific enviroment. Having his mother and grandfather as scientists, Trunks became very intelligent at science. Although he has his father’s strength and aggression he is good natured and quite polite. Vegeta trained him as a child and forced him to fight. Trunks surprised vegeta by becoming a super saiyan when he was only 8 years old. He first had his real chance to prove himself when he fought Goten in the world Martial Arts Tournament and won. By the end of Dragon Ball Z, Trunks is 18. He's a very attractive teen and is less interested in training. He has good manners and seems very mature even at this age. His father has to order him to enter the next tournament with the threat of slicing his allowance in half. Goten is 17 and very much into dating even though Goku is forcing him to train and enter as well. It is unknown how Trunks! fares during this tournament. Goten loses to his 4-year old niece, Pan. Throughout this however, Trunks and Goten’s friendship is still seen to be as strong as ever. Trunks also has a younger sister named Bra. She's one year younger than Pan and 15 years younger than her brother. Later on, Trunks becomes president of the Capsule Corp. and spends his time in his office. Vegeta realizes that Trunks is getting lazy and again forces him, to go into space with Pan and Goku.
