WE ARE IN NEED OF A BASSIST. Shayne Greene has left the band to pursue other interests and we are in need of bassist. If you are interested, send us an EMAIL @ themourningsky@hotmail.com or call Kevin @ 603-231-8724. It is important that we find the right person as soon as possible as we will be recording in early March. Please get the word out...

January 26th, 2005...

So, we haven't updated in awhile. Things have been kinda crazy in TMS land lately, but I have good news. We will be recording our new E.P. on March 7-11 in Paramus NJ with Stained Glass Studios. Jayson Dezuzio (Penmanship in Plastic, Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance) will be producing us and it should see an early april release. We are all pretty excited for this opportunity, and are taking this time to work on preproduction. Because of this, we will not be playing as many shows over the next month and a half, but we will be playing a few, so make sure to come check them out. Once again, thank you for your patience and support. You made this happen.

January 3rd, 2005...

We will be playing A show this Sunday, the 9th, @ The Bombshelter with Bringing Home The War. This will be Reena's last show with BHTW, and we want to make it a good one. Anyone who can make it out, thanks in advance. The show starts @ 4:00 PM and we go on 2nd or 3rd. We also have tickets for sale, so please talk to us if you need any. You can IM me (rich) @ DyingInJuly (AIM), Derrick @ grunge c0re (AIM), Kevin @ mrorange2099 (AIM), or email us @ themourningsky@hotmail.com.

Thanks for sticking with us through good times and bad, that means everything to us...

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the bands this weekend at KILL YOUR SCENE. Every band that played was amazing, and I want to thank Penmanship in Plastic in particular for coming all the way up here from New Jersey to play. We are going to be taking a little break, so we only have 1 more show from now untill the end of december, but it's for the best. I promise. Make sure you don't miss it this friday, December 17th @ The Crossing.

Happy Turkey Day everyone! We played our first show in a non-adjacent state last night, and it was a success. We played at a place called The Dropzone in Cumberland Rhode Island. Everyone was generally supportive, but their were a few groups of kids that didn't care about the bands and were just there to hang out. Oh well, it happens. Thanks to fighting Words for hooking us up with the show. We got really lost on the way down and it took us 5 hours to get there. Dave Dumais filled in on bass for us because Shayne had more important things to do, so a huge thank you go's out to him. We can't wait to play again @ The Crossing this friday and we hope to see you all there. Make sure and thank Dave if you see him for being our hero!

Rich had a pretty bad cold all week and pretty much killed himself for you guys that night, but it was well worth it if everyone had a good time. See you soon...

September 11, 2004...

I want to thank everyone who came out last night to see us play. It was our first time out in awhile, and we definately had alot of technical issues, but we had a blast none the less. Everyone who bought demo's, THANK YOU so much. We are trying to build up some $$$ to go record as soon as possible, and your donations will go a long way. We will be in our practice space for practically the next 2 weeks straight, so we will definately have everything tight for the next show, not to mention some more material to play. I can't wait too see you all again on the 24th.

September 9, 2004...

Recently, we parted ways with our former bassist, David Dumais. Dave was a close friend of ours for a long time and will be dearly missed. I just want everyone to know that this was a decision that was difficult to make, but neccessary. Dave is moving on to more important things in his life, and we wish him the best. The show is still on tomorrow, and our good friend, Shayne Greene, will be filling in on bass indefinately untill we can find a replacement. Thank you for all of your support.

You can reach him at drowningnsleepx (AIM). We are in the process of finishing all of our songs with him, as well as writing new material. Shows will be coming VERY SOON.
