Some may spend thousands building a Robot. My hobby is to build a Robot as cheap-as-possible from easily available parts, like household soup cans. You can't use any hard-to-find or expensive parts and can't be too "perfect" either or they lose their "quirky" charm. Some can walk and others can talk.
TCM-1 (Rasta II)
Hand-crafting & repairing the mouth/lip modules sealed and carved out of wax was too time consuming, the "Square" mouth is much more elegant and easier to maintain. It's bascially a square hole with leds behind a cover I made from a clear piece I cut ftom a plastic coke bottle and coloured with red marker.
