my sister LORI WAS IN A VAN ACIDENT....nearly died...she'll be in the hospital
in the trauma unit (intensive care) for weeks!!
i'll need to stay home and help out. any plans for school are on hold.

well.....all plans are off....i have cancer, non-hodgkins lymphoma. spent the month of july in the hospital, now i need 6 months of chemo. so i'm spending my summer at home...no traveling the Carribean or camping thru the Virgen Islands, had to withdraw from school til i feel better.

COOL news....i applied to work for Starbucks in Costa Rica, planting/reforesting the land with coffee trees...helping the local economy (crops for the locals to sell).
If i'm chosen, I leave in june for the summer
and spend 2 months working, eating, and living with the locals...this job sounds exciting!!
I'll get to travel and work, too.
