Life is like a puddle of water

As you stare into the puddle
You see many great things
Things so beautiful and real
And you always dreamed
It would be this way forever
Day after day you'd go look
The same beautiful scenery
The same special dreams
Until one day things changed
You went back to that spot
The puddle was still there
And so was your outlook
But the puddle had changed
For that tiny, little stone
Someone tossed into the puddle
Changed your whole outlook
Changed what you thought you knew
Including you
