Up in the sky where the moon is lit
A light beams down far from the heavens
Shimmering stars shine down upon us
As we sit beneath the midnight sky
Illuminated is the ocean
We gaze upon sitting on the sand
Quiet are the waves we listen to
The air is calm as we sit and talk
Hours at end till the sun comes up
Slowly the night fades, turning into day
As does the sun awaken the sky
Alas gracing us with it’s presence
Peaceful are the sounds of the ocean
As beautiful creatures stir around
And breath-taking to have you near me
To experience this gorgeous sight
And still be there the morning after
Night until day break, dark until dawn
