I've been here for two months. Anyway - continuation of the last page - there are other animals at Mokolodi. The elephants got really close to us, and one actually reached her trunk into the car and felt around to see what we were. Just saying "Hello!" It was pretty exciting...

More Giraffes
There were about five giraffes in the distance, though you can only see two of them here. |
Elephants nearby
They had handlers.. Mokolodi is taming them so they can do elephant-back safaris. But really neat-looking animals up close! (The word for elephant in Nepali is Haati - sounds like you're blowing your nose) |
