Looking at this huge 6 story building from the outside, one would think that it is nothing more than a long abandoned warehouse. The outer walls are covered in dirt and dust, and show their years. All of the windows are boarded up from the inside, and the few with glass still remaining are covered in dust and cobwebs. The handles of the huge front doors to the building do not appear to be locked, but there is a definite feel that one would not wish to go inside this building. Though the water of the bay is not but 20 feet away from the building at the closest point, it does not seem to touch the building at all.
For those that are invited inside...
The front doors are actually locked electronically from the inside. To get inside, one must first cross a ten foot wide “mote” that is around the inner edge of the building, 20 feet deep and filled with ten foot long wooden and silver spears pointed upwards. Looking down into the mote also reveals the floor covered with crude oil, which no doubt can easily and quickly be lit from various points. The wide doors open into a large area containing at least 2 vehicles, with enough room for at least three dozen more. The inside of the building seems to be divided into three areas... This one, which extends from one end of the building to the other, from left to right of the doors, one area to the left and back of the building, and the third off to the right and back of the building. Down the center, towards the back, is a stairway leading up to a second level, which is the equivalent of the third story in a regular building.
The area to the left and back of the building is a huge square area. This area is divided into several smaller areas, including five 30 foot square rooms along the back wall, with the ceiling at least 2 stories up. Each of the 30 foot square rooms contains a steel table bolted to the center of the floor and a matching chair, also bolted to the floor, in front of it. Along the back wall of the room, across from the door, is a 10 foot long steel workbench. Upon this bench are two sets of dentist’s tools, many different sledge hammers, rubber mallets, wooden hammers, various drills and miscellaneous other tools. On the end of the workbench closest to the table is a battery charger with extra long cables, and on the floor next to it is a large wooden spool of copper electrical wire. Anyone standing outside of the rooms when they are occupied, and the doors closed, would notice that the rooms are completely sound proofed. These are the interrogation/torture chambers, or as some of the Delaney’s call it, Red’s Sanctuary.
Also in this area are six rooms, 50 feet square, and also soundproof. These are used as smaller rant rooms, or meeting rooms. The three rooms facing the Sanctuary contain only several stacks of folding chairs for meetings. The three facing the parking area contain several large tables with chairs surrounding them, along with stacks of more folding chairs to be used if needed. Behind the Sanctuary is another large square area that has been set up as a firing range, where members of the family can often be found with various handguns firing off a few rounds to keep them sharp.
The area to the right and back of the building is a 150 foot square, two story, area. The doors to this area are huge bay doors, which are wide enough to allow a Mac truck through. The doors to this area are currently wide open, letting anyone who walks in see inside. The inner walls of this area are solid black with emergency lights every 5 feet. Along the upper edges of the walls, where the wall meets the ceiling, are black lights. Erected in the center of this area is a boxing ring. Surrounding the ring are several rows of chairs. Anyone who has been here before knows that this is a new addition to the building and will notice that lighting has also been added, along with media equipment, for the ring to be used for televised boxing events. Just in front of this area the floor appears to have two huge doors in the floor, which are currently locked and secured.
As you walk up the stairs, you can see an alarm keypad on the outer wall of the Sanctuary. The stairs lead upstairs to the second level, to a hallway off to the left and an open area to the right, and a large living room and kitchen area directly ahead.
As you turn to face the right from the top of the stairs, the area has one wall straight ahead and along the back wall from here (the right wall of the building) while the other two sides of this area are completely open to the rest of the building. This area looks more like a gym than a weight room, as it contains many pieces of weight lifting equipment, a couple of punching bags, and several other pieces of weight training equipment around an open area covered in floor mats, most likely used for martial arts training. Along the back wall of the room are several racks containing various weapons, some include a few long and short swords, both steel and wooden practice swords, sai, staves, spears, and several oriental style weapons.
As you turn to the left from the top of the stairs there is a walkway leading straight forward (along the back wall of the building) and off to the left (towards the front of the building). There are several doors along this walkway along the back of the building, and if one were to look up they can see several cameras pointing in different directions to view the entire walkway. The first opens up to an unused office. This room is fifteen feet square. The next two doors open to a meeting room which is fifteen feet back from the doors and thirty feet long. Next is a door which opens up to another fifteen foot square office. In one corner hangs a pair of bright fiery red boxing gloves. The next 15 foot square room is belongs to Ty, and is his private office. The last two doors along this hall open into 15 foot square empty offices. When you turn the corner, there are three more door along this hallway. The third opens to a 15 square room that is Leo’s bedroom. The other two doors open to two more 15 foot square rooms that appear to be unoccupied bedrooms which could be used as guest rooms.
At the end of the hallway, you can stand and look out over the open garage area of the building. The walkway continues to the left, and has several doors facing the open area above the parking area. As you open each door along here, you find four empty rooms, Red’s bedroom, and Jess’ bedroom. Each of these rooms are 15 feet square, with the exception of Red’s bedroom, which is 30 feet wide and 15 feet deep. Walking down the hall facing the gym, there are three last doors, again, each opening to empty 15 foot square rooms.
The following information is for the family and the StoryTellers (players trying to use this information in game will be penalized!!): In the back wall of Red’s office (the room with the boxing gloves), Ty’s office and Red’s bedroom are secret doors that only these people know about. If you were to map the above description out, you would find that there is a 45 foot by 75 foot empty space in the center of the rooms. This area is used for the security room. In this room are several hundreds of monitors, one for each of the cameras hidden in the building, showing every corner, walkway, and angle of the open rooms. There is nothing within the building that is hidden from view of the cameras. There are also cameras hidden outside of the building to show not only the perimeter, but also the land. It is impossible to get within 1000 yards of the building without being seen. There are also alarms on EVERY window and the main doors leading outside the building. There are censors in the ground along the driveway to the building and in a 50 yard perimeter of the building along with a 50 yard perimeter just inside the property line. The warehouse is secured also by infrared and laser motion detectors lacing all entrances, windows and even the vents, and computer visuals to not only track humans, but with the capacity to pick up forms that don’t show on infraredthat just give off cold. It picks up forms lower than the environmental temperature. The doors are reinforced with steel and the door frames mounted into foot thick cement, and there are steel grates shut across the doors and steel plates shut across windows during the day.
Hidden behind the stairs and known only to the Delaney family (i.e. Red, Ty, Jessica and Angel) is a stairway leading down. Under the building is a large chamber, half again the size of the building. It is an open area with huge pillars from the ground to the ceiling for support in various places, and is used for storage. There is a ramp leading up to the doors in the flooring above, strong enough and wide enough for a Mac truck to be driven down here.
