Wargame Honors |
These honors are bestowed to people who have
exceptional acheivents in non-wargame related events.
Given to a team member who performs an extraordinary act of courage, strength, selflessness, or sacrifice at any time during a campout or event. The Congressional Medal of Honor is one of the most prestigious honors given to U.S. soldiers.
Given to the team member who sustains the most physical damage (i.e. largest welt, most elaborate cut, or scar) during a campout, especially during a wargame. The Purple Heart is given to soldiers who are shot
or injured in combat.
Given to an outsider of the group that joins in a campout or activity and is quickly and thoroughly accepted by the group. Loup Honoraire French for "honorary wolf". Among wolves, it is very difficult for an outsider to become accepted into the pack.
These honors are bestowed upon an injured team
member who joins a campout, partakes in the activities, and also
exceeds in them. For example, if an injured team member is a crucial
part of a winning team in a wargame or an active, vital part of a
successful operation. Danielson, from Karate Kid, was injured many times and still came back to succeed and excel in his matches.
Given to a team member who displays exceptionally bad judgement in a specific instance. After frequent instances, Dumbass Honors may be awarded.
These honors are bestowed to people who have exceptional misfortune in wargame related events.
Given to a team member who has been continually shot first throughout a campout or airsoft event. In Predator, Hawkins was the first of the group to be killed.
Given to a team member that used the most ammunition with the least success at hitting targets. In Predator, Mac picked up the gatling gun, and used the entire supply ammunition without a single casualty.
Given to a team member who failed to properly check and prepare equipment before entering a battle. Bryan was the first to enter a battle without batteries in his mini.
These honors are bestowed to people who have exceptional acheivents in wargame related events.
Given to a team member who has numerous kills/ completed objectives, yet remains relatively unscathed throughout a campout or war game. Arnold Schwarzenegger frequently survives impossible odds in movies (such as Predator) after completing objectives.
Johnston Honors,
Given to a team member displaying exceptional sniping ability during a campout or airsoft event. Two Johnston Awards equals one Bronze Bullet; two Bronze Bullets equals one Silver Bullet; two Silver Bullets equal one Gold Bullet. Johnston was a Sniper in Rainbow 6. The Star Awards
Awarded for an act of leadership or independent bravery in a wargame to perform an outstanding deed, such as lead an attack into strong enemy lines, amass a successful counter-attack, or a kamikaze attack, with successful results. The Star can be Gold, Silver, or Bronze, depending on the act, where the Gold Star is qualified by an especially brave and successful cooperative act, the Silver is qualified by exceeding in two points (brave/ successful/ cooperative), and the Bronze in one point.
Given to a team member who performs a heroic 'life'-saving act for a team-mate in a wargame. In Forest Gump, Gump ran back into the jungle multiple times to retrieve his comrades, saving their lives.
Given to a team member who experienced unusual luck at hitting targets without aiming.

may be awarded anytime up to the next event. Honors will be awarded
by the Captains (Mavrick, Smyth, and Link) with a majority vote
between the three (or top 3 ranking members present at the event) to
any group member or guest. New awards will be created on an
as-needed basis. |
