These are the fields we play airsoft games on. We have two houses we play at: Link's and Smyth's, each house has woods, but with different attributes; each has a house with lights and surroundings, but with unique properties, all of which make each place good for certain games, which were described on the Airsoft Games page. | ||
Link's: Woods
A little flat, especially compared to Smyth's woods, the main draw of this area is the location, and the high foliage density, excellent for hiding. The cabin adds a nice base to defend or attack, but bunkers and bases can be set up relatively easily with convenient logs, sticks, and tree combinations almost anywhere. There are a few areas with decent hills, a small, dried up pond has a 3 foot side that juts up suddenly, complete with a field runoff nearby, the closest thing to a creek in the area. The further back in the woods one goes, the flatter the land gets. A system of bunkers has been set up across the width of the woods towards the middle as an area for capture the flag (or variations) or attack/ defend. Team deathmatch games are also popular in this middle area. "The Cabin" ~Top~Link's: Around the House
An excellent area to play deathmatch or sniper, the lights produced by the garage and house create strong shadows that are great for hiding. A few hills in the back and woods surrounding (to some extent), the area is great for snipers. Bomb/defusal is also a good game to play in this area at night, especially with bushes around the bomb sites and woods within sniping distance. ~Top~Link's: Basement
Great team deathmatch games have been played using boxes and junk as bunkers, stationary and mobile, with strobe lights blaring through the pitch-black night and an eerie silence that will make anyone imagine noises... or are the noises imagined...? ~Top~Smyth's: Woods
Smyth's Cabin These woods are extremely hilly. With three levels of land to operate on and all the ground in between, the creek can be used to sneak by long ways, the middle ground can be run quickly, and the top of the hill can be used to snipe and defend. Great for capture the flag and attack/defend games, these woods are an awesome alternate woods field.

Saner's woods are located across the field behind the cabin. They are wild and full of natural bunkers, made from fallen trees, large trees, holes and hills provided by uprooted trees, and thick foliage. This place has yet to be used to its potential, but paintball has been played here, along with one attack/ defend game that was offensively impossible. These woods would be an excellent location for an opposing base to the cabin, or an alternative woods field at Link's house.
