Let's face the facts: for many of us, meditation can be extremely difficult. Some of us have chronic aches and pains, some of us live in with constant distractions, and some of us just don't have the patience and focus necessary to really reach that all-important 'zen' state. If you're like me, a combination of all three makes meditation next to impossible.
That doesn't stop me from trying, though. I've tested all manner of techniques spanning dozens of religions from around the world with only limited success, but I'm certain there's a technique out there that will work for me. In the meantime, here's what I've learned:
