2-27-04:WW2 gaming news! 8:59am EST:

As I write this I am sitting underneath a foot of snow. Now, you yanks from up North might say...yeah...so? But, down here in North Carolina, where I haven't even seen a snow plow come down my road, or any road connecting to it...that's a lot! On with the news...

I've quit my old DOD squad, and I have also stopped playing WW2 Online. I'll say right now, however, that both games are very good, and I recommend them to anyone. I have joined a Red Orchestra squad, Semper Fi, and I hope to continue playing with those great guys with the release of 2.0. RO 2.0 is set to come out in April, and will be switched over to Unreal Tournament 2004 (UT2K4) as quickly as possible. This is a good move, seeing as how the UT2K4 demo has broken all previous download records to date! If you haven't checked it out, here are the appropriate links: Red Orchestra mod for UT2K3, and Epic Games UT2K3 and UT2K4 website

I don't really care that much for Unreal Tournament...I will only be buying the game for RO. That may sound silly, but it isn't if you like gritty, realistic WW2 FPS action. It is that good!

Also, Combat Mission: Afrika Korps has been released. This is the third game in the Combat Mission series, and although I haven't received my copy yet, I will be buying it soon! The demo proved what I already knew...I had to buy it. You can find the game at this link!

That's all for now. Stay safe, and stay off the roads in NC for at least one day, folks.
