Regiment General Göring Assaults France, 1940 / Detachment Kluge aids in the Norwegian Campaign

D2 Renault destroyed in the woods of Mormal, May 20, 1940, in a battle between Flak-Abteilungs 3./RGG, 5./RGG, and French armor.

"Victory in the West-Armistice", proclaims the just distributed field newspaper. These men of RGG have had their white collar patches removed for camoflauge purposes. Also, RGG was temporarily renamed, "Flak-Regiment 103", at the beginning of the campaign to hide its true organizational purpose.
