House Protection

STREGA HERB JAR

PREPARATION:

The following herbs are just a few that are used in protection spells.

They may be crushed or left whole.

TO PROTECT YOURSELF

PREPARATION:

Incense can be used such as: patchouly, sandalwood or cimmamon.
RITUAL:

As you say the words below, feel yourself being embraced by a white light of protection. Repeat this 3 times.

Bound, bound, bound
Wound around
Guard me now
Sky to ground

HOUSE PROTECTION FROM STORMS

PREPARATION:

Get together salt, pennyroyal and rosemary.

RITUAL:

(Note: You are standing inside, blowing the herbs outside through an open doorway.)Holding the herbs in your hand, blow 3 pinches of each herb through all outside doorways to your home.

Chant:

Winds of the East,
Winds of the West,
I beseech you,
Give us rest.

Winds of the North,
Winds of the South,
By Force of three,
Please blow around me.

VEHICLE PROTECTION

PREPARATION:

Choose from among the following stones and wrapped them in a pouch that you can hang from your car mirror. Hematite (grounding), Sodalite ( de-stress), Amber (protection of children), Moonstone (traveler's protection), and Turquoise (prevent danger).

RITUAL:

Perform a ritual blessing asking for the Goddess & and God (Lugh) to guide you and protect you while traveling. Say this:

The trouble and forces I send to thee

Shall never return to trouble me.
By our Lord and Lady,
By the Protective shields of Lugh;

Now go and hang the pouch in your vehicle.

Witch House Protection

PREPARATION:

You will need a 4" jumbo craft stick or any type of item that you might wish to hang outside your home. You will also need 2 black candles and a permanent black marker. Upon the craft stick, draw several protective symbols from a source you choose such as Ogham, Runes, etc. For mine, I used Runes: a bindrune for home protection made of the runes Othala, Algiz and Thurisaz. You might also use a pentagram which symbolizes Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit.

RITUAL:

Cast your circle of light (from within, using your projection hand) and ask the Goddess and Gods for their attention and blessing.Say this:
In front of me is the Air,
Behind me is the Water,
On my right side is the Fire;
On my left side is the Earth;
Around me shines the Circle;
And Above me shines the Light of Power.
I call thee, Lord and Lady of Protection;
I call thee to witness my words;
In the name which is above every other;
Bless this rite of protection.

Now light both black candles and you are going to charge this runestick with the magick of protection. Say this as you hold this rune stick over the smoke of a candle:

In the name above all others
I seek peace and harmony
Replace all war and strife
With cooperative life
Let the discord be burned up in flames.
By Bodiel (Bo-Dee-Ale), Fare Thee well.

Then place your 'Witch House Protection" on the door frame by hanging it up with a rope or wire etc whatever is needed.

EXORCISM OF NEGATIVE ENERGY

PREPARATION:

This ritual can either be done solitary or with others participating.(It may be helpful to have others assisting with this.) Incense to burn: frankincense, pine, lilac, or rosemary. This chant is to be said very forcefully many times over while gazing at the flame of a black candle.

RITUAL:

Chant:

You are not to come near my body.

You are not to go before me.

You are not to follow me.

Where I stop, you are not to stop.

Where I sit, you are not to sit.

At my home, you shall not enter.

You are not to step in my steps.

You are not to be in my shadow.

Where I go, you are not to go.
