| EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE Denton Humane Society not only pays the veterinary expenses of many stray and injured animals, but also financially helps owners who are short on medical funds for sick pets. Families are frequently given dog and cat food. We also maintain a pet cemetery. |

INFORMATION AND REFERRAL The Denton Humane Society office handles thousands of calls covering a range of topics. Referrals are made as needed. A newsletter with articles, "tips," and Denton Humane Society activities is mailed to members quarterly. DHS also attends several community events to distribute information and spread the word about our mission. |
