I took these pictures the afternoon of 5-11-02. Sure wish I had a good digital camera. As with all my other pics, these were "snapped" from a video camera, so the quality is not as good as a nice camera shot. I started to put the rest of the car together. I've put all but one piece of the stainless trim back on. I should be picking up the hood emblem bezel this week from the chrome shop. I pick up 4 new Goodrich wide whitewalls this week, too!

I've buffed out the paint as best I could. The car really looks much better than in these dark photos (taken in the shade of my Siberian Elm). I don't have pics yet, but I've installed trunk carpeting and two of the inner door panels, too! Unlike my other 57 DeSoto (the Firedome), this car has extra stainless for the roof moldings, the front fendertop ornaments, and dual fin-mounted antennas.
