Djwal Khul
Djwal Khul, also called "The Tibetan,"
was a beautiful master who achieved liberation under
master Kuthumi's guidance.
He is profoundly learned,
knowing more about the seven rays
and the spiritual hierarchy
than perhaps any of his peers.
He channeled wisdom works to Alice Bailey,
a modern leader of the Theosophical Society.
With Kuthumi and El Morya,
he works diligently for our enlightenment
Extract from the "Statement by the Tibetan."
I am a brother of yours,
who has traveled a little longer
upon the Path than has the average student,
and has therefore incurred greater responsibilities.
I am one who has wrestled and fought his way
into a greater measure of light
that has the aspirant who will read this article,
and I must therefore act as a transmitter of the
light, no matter what the cost.
I am not an old man,
as age counts among the teachers,
yet I am not young or inexperienced.
My work is to teach and spread
the knowledge of the Ageless Wisdom
wherever I can find a response,
and I have been doing this for many years.
I seek also to help the Master M. and the Master K.H.
whenever opportunity offers, for I have been long
connected with Them and with Their work.
In all of the above, I have told you much;
yet at the same time I have told you nothing
which would lead you to offer me the blind obedience
and the foolish devotion which the emotional aspirant
offers to the Guru and Master Whom he is as yet
unable to contact.
Nor will he make that desired contact
until he has transmuted emotional devotion into
unselfish service to humanity--not to the Master.
O SPIRIT, REVEAL THYSELF AS THOU ART
By Paramahansa Yogananda
O Spirit, Thou art just behind my vision,
with which I see Thine outward beauty.
Thou art just behind my hearing,
with which I listen to the medley
of earth sounds.
Thou art just behind my touch,
with which I feel the objects of Thy world.
Thou art just behind the veil of Nature's
splendors.
In the sympathetic glances of flowers,
in the zest of sustaining food,
and in all Thine other bounties lies
hidden the essence of Thy Being, Thine
eternal sweetness.
As I invoke Thee, Lord, Thou art just behind
my awe-trembling voice. Thou art just behind
the mind with which I pray. Thou art just behind
my deepest feelings. Thou art just behind my
sacred thoughts. Thou art just behind my cravings
for Thee.
Thou art just behind my meditations.
Thou art just behind my tender love.
Wilt Thou not come out from behind the screens
of human feelings and creation's elaborate displays?
O Inscrutable by Mortals! open my divine eye that
sees Thee as Thou art.
The lotus opens
Light comes in
Reflecting the Universe
I am
I am that….I am that in the ALL
Blends from above;
From around me I AM
I am nothing; yet, I AM the all
Reflecting rays of pure light
Coming through me blending embracing
In the nothingness of the WHOLE
Is it I? No……………
It is the nothingness’ that in spirit
Dissolves into eternity
Into the cosmos into THAT
That has no name-
Only then I know the life force
Of the infinite, the wave of instantaneous
Knowledge of what life is
Through clouds of bewillment I sit
Pondering the greatness of it all
Spirit as a kite
Light as a feather opening a fan
In rays of energy emanating
Touching the earth
Bathing the planet in loving care
Of it’s own life…………

What kind of a person does Enlightenment produce?"
Said the Master:
"To be public-spirited and belong to no party,
to move without being bound to any given course,
to take things as they come,
have no remorse for the past,
no anxiety for the future,
to move when pushed,
to come when dragged,
to be like a mighty gale,
like a feather in the wind,
like weeds floating on a river,
like a mill stone meekly grinding,
to love all creation equally
as heaven and earth are equal to all
-such is the product of Enlightenment."

Though the fragrance of a flower
cannot be touched,
Tis all pervasive and
at once perceptible,
So by unpatterned being-in-itself
Recognize the round of mystic circles.
Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism,
Mohammedanism —
these are only ideologies,
dogmas, creeds; they are only cults.
The true religion has no name,
it cannot have any name. Buddha lived it,
Jesus lived it — but remember,
Jesus was not a Christian and
Buddha was not a Buddhist,
he had never heard of the word.
The truly religious people have been simply
religious, they have not been dogmatic.
