Beer Review: Cask-Conditioned Snake River Pale Ale

Completely unfiltered, due to the process by which it was made, this beer had a darker color than its original -- Sweet Water's Snake River Pale Ale. Having less gas in its body (again, an effect of its brewingprocess), I found I could also smell the hops in this brew. Medium-to-darker in color, with a medium-to-heavy body, this beer was chock full o' hops! The amount of hops present was very nice, not overpowering, and the hoppiness did not dominate the smooth, full flavor of this offering. Available only on Wednesdays at Sweet Water, I was fortunate to be there to sample this special brew. Finishing with a hoppy aftertaste (which went down well), this beer was quite an experience! Great stuff! -- Brewmeister G
