Beer Review: Snake River Pale Ale

I have tried several of the brews available at Sweet Water Tavern and sampled their Pale Ale at a local Beer Festival. Actually, a person working a nearby beer company's table recommended this beer, as he had heard several folks talk highly of it. I found it to be a good to very good pale ale (although no other thoughts (or notes) came to mind when I reviewed it). Beer drinkers in the Northern Virginia area can pick this up at some local supermarkets now. It may not available (except in bottled form) if you stop by a Sweet Water Tavern, however, as they constantly rotate which five beers they keep on tap.

A nice color greeted my eye and a nice hoppy start greeted my taste buds as I began my way through this ale. This beer had a medium body and cleaned out my mouth & throat (from the chips & salsa) very nicely. Just because the review is kind of short does not mean I did not like this. No sir (or ma'am), this was a nice, nice beer -- very good!!!
